brilliant waterproof boot. jusy about to order a new pair, as ive worn these daily for 18 months of walks/hikes and the soles are about gone. best boots ive ever had, outdoing brands at 4x price

This is my third pair, good resistant, fairly water proof, and confortable.

Overall a great comfortable tac boot.Bit heavy on the knees for any unprepared trekking, work into these as your Sunday trippersGood strong feel to workmanship.Problem with fire - If near sparks or even just close up to heat the laces, tongue and most of the upper are extremely flammable. I need new laces after first wear and Tongue got a massive hot rock on second.So probably not great for camping in Fall/ WinterI slipped in a smear of gasoline on paving brick... - No harm done but alerted the perp we were coming in.

When I first got them u thought they were very comfortable but after only 3 uses they have torn as show in my pictures. They could have been great boots I was enjoying but they didn't last 3 uses.

I use these boots for everyday wear as they are very comfortable and look good. I changed the laces fairly guickly as one of the originals came apart. I put in a pair of good hiking boot laces which are better. Would certainly be buying these again.

So today was time to get the araldite out to try to eke a few more days use out of these boots. Sole has parted company with the uppers on the right boot for about 30% of the perimeter.They have lasted just over 7 months, but it's probably my fault for actually walking in them and expecting them to last.After all I walk the dogs for about 5 miles a day in them so I've actually got just over a thousand miles completed while wearing them.Seems to be about par for the course as the previous boots I had (NORTIV 8 Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots) lasted pretty much the same length of time.Then I look back to the safety boots I used to wear for work (and also walk the dogs in ) and wonder why you can't buy them any more.The answer must be that they used to last 2 to 3 years of abuse without falling apart, explains why they are no longer available I suppose.So to sum up theses boots are quite comfortable, but don't expect to use them for lots of walking as they won't last too long.

I'm usually a UK size 9.5 so I went for a 10 to give myself a little room for sturdy socks etc. The boots came quicker than expected however the size 10 was much too large. I'd say it was probably equivalent to an 11, maybe slightly larger. That aside, the boot looks great and felt comfy so I've returned and re-ordered a smaller size. UPDATE: Re-ordered the size 9 - again, very roomy but much better fit. I've slapped some insoles in there and they're good to go. Haven't really put them through their paces yet but they'll do the job. I'd recommend 0.5 - 1 size smaller than your usual, chaps.
