After regular use, I can confidently say it offers fantastic value despite a few hiccups.Strengths:One of the standout features of the AutoBot EV Charger is its 48A capacity. With this level of output, it significantly outperforms standard Level 1 chargers, providing faster charging times and ensuring my EV is ready to go when I am.Its installation process was fairly straightforward, and the charger’s robust build quality adds a sense of reliability. The sturdy exterior protects it from various environmental conditions, ensuring durability over time.In terms of value, the AutoBot charger hits the mark. For its price point, it offers Level 2 charging, sturdy construction, and user-friendly design — a package that is often pricier in the EV charger market.Weaknesses:Despite these strong points, my experience with the AutoBot EV Charger hasn't been entirely smooth sailing. I've noticed that the charging can become unstable when operating at its full capacity of 48 amps. This inconsistency can cause some inconvenience, particularly if you're relying on a fast charge to prepare for a long drive.Conclusion:Despite the slight instability at its maximum output, the AutoBot Level 2 Home Electric Vehicle Charging Station has proven to be an excellent investment. It offers a great balance of speed, durability, and value, making it a compelling choice for EV owners looking to set up a reliable home charging station. Just keep in mind that to get the best out of it, you may need to adjust to charging your vehicle at a slightly lower amperage. Wonderful steady build quality. Using in a shared facility, RFiD card is really helpful to allow only authorised user to charge their vehicle. Reached out to seller to use more rfid cards in future.I had Nema port so I was able to install without lot of hassle.Should also try if you are looking access based charging

I purchased this unit because it will charge without using the internet. The main complaint of other units was problems with software, this unit doesn’t use software. It uses a card reader and has 2 cards included. It works great. The unit is nice looking installed on the side of my house, and is easy to use.Before I installed, there were a few questions that I had, so I needed to contact support. Each time I emailed them, I got an answer minutes later, which to me, is phenomenal. I have never experienced such quick response.All in all I am very pleased with my purchase, and would certainly recommend.

Works great, but trying to eliminate need for RFID and can’t find the PIN code to connect to app.

Works well with no problems. Would prefer not to have the security card reader function but see how would be useful if used in a public area.

The media could not be loaded.  The autobot charger appears to be good quality with nice copper contacts on the NEMA 14-50 plug and comes with good instructions for installing it in your home or garage. The cable has a hefty feel to it due to the thickness of the wiring. I have not installed it yet, but I will soon. Overall it seems to be a good purchase for charging my EV car at home.

The media could not be loaded.  Works great! Got the unit in and wasn’t sure why the power fluctuated on the screen when charging so I emailed the support email and they got right back to me and explained everything. Great charger with great support!
