Vitamix48-ounce Blending Container - Blue

My ascent a3500 doe not detect this container. i have a european vitamix. is this 48 container not compatible with my european ascent ?

Does the container come with a tamper or can you use the 640z tamper?

will this work with E310 vitimix?

This 48oz container fits and works well on a 5300 unit. (It does not 'communicate', as with Ascent series). Is there a reason not to continue using?
