Genuinely laugh out loud funny!
I am halfway through the book and it is a fun, funny and informative read! I found myself giggling out loud and reading funny parts to my wife (who does not share my sense of humor). The transition on Pop Warner and him having "a hard time holding down a job" is my kind of dry humor! This book is entertaining reading you will enjoy!

a little disappointed
I’m a big fan of Dan Patrick and his daily radio show, so I really wanted this to be good. It’s just ok. Lots of attempts at humor, some of which bring a smile, but too many of which just fall flat. From all of the credits, I think this is more of a collection of articles written by a lot of different people, so Dan Patrick didn’t actually write too much of this book. If you like the book and like Patrick, go ahead and take the leap. You’ll learn a little football trivia, laugh a little, and probably finish thinking that it wasn’t quite as good as you hoped it would be.

Funny
This book made me laugh. I love Dan Patrick and having someone work with him to provide a humorous portrayal of the NFL was fantastic!

Hilarious and Informative!
What an excellent book! It’s laugh-out-loud hilarious while also providing a smart, informative, and historically accurate overview on the NFL (covering its early foundational days all the way up to today’s modern era). I will be recommending it to any fan of football, comedy, or just good writing!

Unfunny and uninteresting
I got through about 2.5 pages before I remembered that I wasn’t 5 years old and this book and it’s jokes and “observations “ were just dumb. Epic fail, Dan. 👎

More of a coffee table book
I am a huge Dan Patrick fan and I listen to his show almost daily. The book was a letdown. It's a poor attempt at humor and lacks any substance whatsoever. As a reader, I hoped to be entertained or enlightened about something. No luck there. Had I just bought it to be a coffee table book, I would give it five stars. Unfortunately, I read it.

Really pleasant read - well layed out
This book is perfect for the football fan in your life. Its funny, its easy to read, its divided into neat sections and its full of fun football facts. Most of the time its pretty easy to tell where the line between fact and fiction is blurred but not always however that makes it even more fun to read. Highly recommend it.
