Good basic set.
This is a good set for general fixes at a good price.

Quality is impressive
Often I get weary ordering tools off of here, it’s tough to determine the quality of the tool from pictures, however this tap and die set surpassed my expectations. I ordered it to deal with a troublesome diy project and it resolved it in nearly no time at all. I will say the storage case is the least sturdy part of this set. It feels flimsy and when it arrived the parts of the set were scattered about the case. Other than that, 5 stars for me!

Overall a Nice Tap & Die Set
Pros:Hexagonal dies and die handle make for good gripTap and die handles are better than many found in such setsTaps and dies cut wellIncluded thread gauges are handyCons:No divots in dies for set screw, although this doesn’t appear to matter muchHas a 7/16-14 tap but no 7/16-14 dieUpon arrival all the taps were scattered in the case, requiring rearrangingI got this set to compliment what I currently have, since I had 1/2-13 and 1/2-32 dies but not a 1/2-20 die, which this set includes. Unless you spend a lot of money for a very comprehensive tap and die set, there will always be sizes left out. That said, this is a very nice set since it includes metric sizes, most of which I had currently lacked. I was able to easily cut threads on Grade Two 3/8-16 bolts (extending the threads into the shoulders), but since this set doesn’t have a 7/16-14 die I couldn’t try cutting threads on the 7/16-14 Grade Five bolts that I need more threads on. I’ve only tried the taps on aluminum so far, but they easily cut the threads I needed.The dies I already owned have a divot in the side for the handle’s set screw to sit in, which these do lack. Since these dies are hexagonal and fit snugly into the hexagonal handle, this doesn’t seem to be a problem.Overall this is a very nice set.

Great for DIY and hobbyists
This is my first ever tap and die set so I can’t compare it to anything else, but it works great for me and seems good quality for the price - I just need it for the occasional project. It’s a fair amount cheaper than a similar count set from my local hardware store. I like that it’s both metric and SAE all in one kit. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Great price for what you get.
This is a really great price for what you get. This set comes with both imperial and metric measurements so you have a little bit of it all giving you a wide range in just one kit. Looks like it’s really good and I haven’t had any issues with any of the ones that I did use. It also comes in a great organizer/ carrying case so you don’t have to worry about keeping anything organized.

Awesome set, great value
I recently cross threaded a bolt and paid almost this much for just one tap and die to clean up the threads on the bolt and engine block. Having this set on hand will save me from paying way more than needed next time this happens.

I have used this kit a few times. Great price and build quality.
The cost alone is what makes this a great product. If you were to compare what you get from a big box store (even a discount store), you get more pieces in this kit at a much cheaper price. I have used this twice so far, and they have done a good job for my use case. I highly recommend this kit due to the amount of pieces you get, build quality, and price!

Great budget set!
Been wanting a decent tap and die set for a while now. This budget 60pc set covers common SAE sizes up to 1/2" and metric from M3 to M12 for both coarse and fine threads. There's also one NPT thread (1/8 NPT 32), metric and SAE thread gages, and the tools to hold them. The taps were all over the place when I opened it because of a plastic shipping liner that didn't do its job. Once removed all the pieces stay in place properly.All the taps and dies are sharp and properly finished, nothing to complain about in terms of quality there. My main quibble is with the design of the die handle. There's only one set screw and the centering pins are difficult to adjust. The rest of the set is fine.The only thing I wish this set had is a set of matching drill bits to go with the taps, since those can be hard to find.I found a nearly identical set on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002TWOTP4) that sells for a lot more money so this set is quite the value in comparison.
