Thick and sticky
Really good quality paper tape

Shiny but sticky and strong
If you need to tape up loads of cardboard boxes this is a good option. It’s easy to get off the roll, easy to tear, strong and sticky. It doesn’t peel off in my experience but it’s less strong when stuck to itself.

Very disappointed!
I bought this tape because I thought it was paper tape, and I was trying to be more environmentally aware. However, although it looks like paper, it's coated in plastic so that it doesn't stick too hard to itself in the roll, so that you can remove lengths of it from the roll. So it was a fail on the "paper for the environment" front. A shame, as it cost about twice as much as the plastic packing tape I usually buy.If that was the only problem I might be less forgiving towards it. But nope. It's hopeless. Yes, it will stick onto plastic or paper so you can use it to secure your parcels. But it won't stick to itself, because of that plastic coating. So if your tape crosses over an earlier layer of tape, it won't really stick there. And while it does stick quite well to wrapping plastic at first try, when I then left it sitting for an hour or two, it started to come unstuck. Which meant my parcel was not secure. I tried taping it down with more tape but that didn't help as the tape won't stick to itself. I tried taping it down with some ordinary sellotape, but that wasn't too keen to stick to it either. I ended up pulling all this tape off and using sellotape instead and guess what? I've had it too long so now can't return it. Because I would return it if I could. It's not fit for purpose, it cost more than the alternatives I'd been using, and it fails in the one area it could have succeeded in, in being plasticless paper tape.I won't be buying it again and the six rolls I bought will probably end up in landfill.

Used for handcraft and childrens toy making. Very strong
Not cheap but very effective

Very sticky brown and shiny
This tape is extremely sticky, but has a shiny finish which means it's not great for craft work. You can't paint over it and oddly it won't stick to itself.Brilliant as packing tape.

Average at Best 📦
This tape is far from the best I have used. It doesn't adhere to either itself, cardboard or plastic as several other tapes that I have used. It has a slight shine to the tape, meaning that it cannot be written on in sharpie. The tape is OK at best, not too bad for the money, however pay a little more and get some better tape!

NOT plastic-free tape
I got this because it says it's paper, biodegradable tape. It has a very smooth surface which you can't write on in biro and sharpie just beads on- i.e. it has a plastic coating over the paper. so no good for the compost or recycling bin once we're done with it, which defeats the point
