This cute colourful little elephant comes presented in a sturdy colourful cardboard box with pictures of the elephant on it.The elephant is made of shatterproof ABS which is BPA free and safe for babies and children, on the box the age group this toy is 18 months + but on the sales info it says 12- 18 which is a little confusing but from 12 months is probably ok under adult supervision!The elephant has a blue body, with a green and white section with cut out bits for the lights to shine through and shine stars on the ceiling , yellow ears and tail and green and white feet. There is a blue on/off switch on the right side green section of the elephant’s body and on the other side there are five different coloured bottoms that all make the elephant do different things. The buttons on the elephant control the lights, the music and the elephants movement.The elephant runs on three AA batteries, it plays ten tunes, there are five natural sounds (to help soothe a little one to sleep) and four colours of starlight and crawling with elephant sounds as well as a timing function.This is a fun colourful elephant and it keeps children amused for ages crawling after him, watching the lights on the ceiling.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the Crawling Elephant Baby Toy but it is fantastic and great value for money.Initially I thought that the crawling aspect would be the main use for it but it seems that there are so many more options for using it as a sleep aid or white noise machine rather than chasing after it with the crawling aspect and I think this is a good thing as it adds a more unique feel to the toy.The toy is made from a thick plastic and feels nice and sturdy. Even after bashing into things as the elephant runs around the floor he still looks good as new. To function the toy requires 3x AA batteries.The five functions of the elephant toy are:Crawl: This one is the most fun for baby to play with. Elephant moves around the floor in a often circular motion and is reasonably quick. It does a good job of turning around when meeting an obstacle which is handy and has some fun music which reminds me of circus music that the children love. Unlike some toys I don't find the music annoying to listen to.Light: There are four light colours, red, blue, green and yellow and they all project the star and moon shapes on the elephants back onto the ceiling. Initially I thought there was no way the light was bright enough to reach the ceiling but to my surprise it was and it creates a beautiful and magical feel to the room.Sleep: This mode plays nature sounds in a loop in a way making it to be like a white noise machine. I love this mode as it is nice and soothing for baby but my only problem is that to be even more soothing it would need to be quieter. There is a volume control on the toy but you seem to only have two options, loud or louder! I should mention that in my video the toy is on the quieter of the settings.Music: This mode plays a range of songs on loop and turns off after a while. We enjoy listening to these songs and again, don't find them to be annoying for a child's toy at all.Timer: This is a nice option for setting the lights and sounds on a timer which would be perfect for before baby is going to sleep. There are three timer options, 10, 20 and 30 minutes.Overall this is an amazing toy and such good value for money. It would be perfect for babies as they grow as it could initially be used for the lights and sound before they could crawl after the little elephant as they get older. I just wish the toy was a little quieter!
