This pen is awesome!I typically use a different brand gell roller pen, as I find the gel style/type to write much smoother for me than cheaper ball-point pens. I decided to try this pen and I am very pleased! One thing I do not care for with other gel pens is that they do not dry as quick, so they can streak if I accidentally move my hand through the ink (typically happens when I am taking notes and moving around the page). That is NOT an issue for this pen. As soon as I write something, it's dry, alas, no streaking! I mostly use it for personal note taking during work meetings, and it writes cleanly and smoothly (no more licks and scribbles to keep the ink flowing)!The pen itself is black with gold accents. It is shipped with one black ink cartridge installed in the pen, and one spare in the box, so I don't expect to need to buy replacement ink very soon (time will tell). The pen does have some weight to it, which I like, but that's a personal preference. You can literally feel the premium build. The pen does have a cap, as you can see in the pics. It fits snuggly and snaps onto the pen itself, so it won't be coming off in my work briefcase. The cap also nests snuggly on the back end of the pen, if you prefer that when writing. Finally, it is super easy to change the ink cartridge by just unscrewing the back end of the pen, which is typical of other pens I own.All in all, this is a great pen! It looks great, it writes great, and it meets all of my needs of a premium pen, without breaking the bank.

This is a very nice pen! This pen writes very smoothly and has a nice heavy feel. I do think if you are writing with the cap on the back of the pen it seems to be too top heavy, but without the cap on it is nice. The case it comes in is okay; it's held in a ribbon inside. I am not a huge fan of the brand name being on the packaging, but the box feels nice. The brand name appears on the gold center area of the cap. The cap has a nice feel when securely closed as well. The ink doesn't smudge on regular paper. Coated surfaces do need a minute to dry like normal for gel pens. Not sure how long the ink will last, but I'm sure it will last a long time.

This pen is wonderful in every way. From the click of the cap, to the weight and balance, and last the crisp and precise writing of the ink with a slight spring at the tip. This has quickly become my favorite pen.It also looks very stylish in my pad folio .

This pen appears to be well built and is very stylish. The pen writes smoothly without skipping and the ink dries nearly instantly. The tactile response of the pen is a little gritty if you are writing on a single piece of paper on a hard surface. The response is very smooth if writing on a multi-page pad or notebook. Very nice addition to any desk or writing table. I would like for the grip area to possibly be rubberized - the smooth gloss surface allows the pen to sip a bit depending upon your grip.

First of all, the packaging is very nice. I would strongly consider this as a gift for someone starting a new job, college, promotion, etc. due to the nice box it comes in.As far as the performance so far the pen writes great and is so smooth with 0 resistance or skips. The black and gold looks very classy. Would love to see a flat black option in addition to the gloss.Being used to a cap that attaches by friction, it did take a bit to get used to the hard snap that it attaches with. Long term I think this will be great to keep it from drying out or having the cap fall out in a pocket or my bag. Something to be aware of though as another reviewer mentioned the cap, which eventually I see as a positive for the strong retention.

I'm having to return the pen because the Cap won't stay on

Very solid pen. Heavy enough to feel it, but not overly heavy that you could get hand fatigue from it. The rollerball style writes very smooth. Also, the presentation of the pen in the box is great. I had bought it for my wife, but after I felt how it writes, I kept it for myself. lol. I may have to buy her one for christmas.

My whole life I’ve used basic pens, I decided to treat myself and get something nice.This didn’t disappoint!The writing is incredibly smooth, with no smearing.The pen has a weight that feels wonderful in my hand.It looks great, I wore it to a recent interview to give a more professional look.The packaging is perfect to use as a gift for a friend or family member.With the extra ink refill, I have yet to find a downside to buying this Pen!
