If you are careful, this will last a day which is better than anything else that I’ve tried. It’s a decent hold over until you can get a dentist appointment.

I have used this in the past so when i recently got a huge hole in one of my top molars, I’m not sure if i had a cavity filled in there before & it fell out , or if the tooth just cracked and broke … but either way, there was a huge hole in it & for the longest time i was pain free as long as i didn’t chew on that side of my mouth. So i would only chew on my left side to avoid any food getting into the hole (super painful if food did get in) BUT the past few weeks it had been VERY painful, even though i still was not chewing on that side, so i bought this stuff, followed the directions, brushed my teeth, rinsed my mouth out, while my teeth were still wet, i put a little ball of this into the hole, it took a few tries, and my mouth was super white from the product falling out while i was trying to get it in. Eventually i got it in, it didn’t take more than 5 minutes. I used a toothpick to push it up into place & then i bit down to help push it in even more. It sets faster when your tooth/mouth is wet. Since I’m already used to not chewing on that side of my mouth, im not going to chew on that side. So far, it has been about 60 hours & it has set perfectly. It is hardened & when i drink, it doesn’t crumble like other people are saying … i also have eaten multiple times & since I’m not chewing on it, it’s been fine. I honestly think it will be fine if i do chew on it, but I’m okay not chewing on that side.So if you have a hole in your tooth like i did, my advice is to follow the directions that say “directions to replace a lost filling” & then DONT eat ANYTHING for at least an hour or two (do it right before bed) & then when you wake up & eat, only chew on the opposite side of your mouth for a day or two until the temp. Filling is nice and hardened & set.Or, like me, & don’t chew on the temparin filling at all.As for the people that need to fix a crown, cap, or inlay…. I can’t help you.

I've used this product and found it useful and easy to use. Only problem, the contents was very skimpy. I purchased it elsewhere and it wasn't like that.

This works great on small fillings. I used on a lower front tooth which has a 1 surface filling hole not too deep. I use when filling falls out. It sometimes doesn't seem to bond and other times it does. It get lot of chewing on it. Stays in about a week then you can redo it. Works well on any chips or rough edges. May not work well on a large filling but it would help protect tooth until you can get to dentist for repair. Well worth the money. Hopefully it's non toxic because I'm sure you eat most of it.

Easy to use but all temporary fillings are the same. It is not always possible to get them right. This one is as good as I've used.

Pointless, even as a temporary filling it just doesn't stay in and you won't even notice and its gone

This is so much better than the one I got from my local pharmacy.

There is hardly anything in the pot, it says 5+ repairs, but enough for 1 filling. Doesn't stay in at all well and the bit that does fell out after eating a soft jacket potato!
