Mother has trouble in bad short term memory condition knowing day info. This is awesome and nice and clean frame to blend in. Only draw back is that it HAS to be plugged in. If it could charge or run on batteries it would be perfect. If it was cheaper or had pack discount, I would have gotten one for each of her rooms.

I have purchased two of these clocks and they have different purposes. One is for by someone who is legally blind, she said it is perfect and she is able to use it right next to her chair!The other person loves it because she is able to determine when it is morning, afternoon and evening.I will purchase if I feel someone else would benefit from it like these women has.

UPDATE****I brought this clock for my 68 year old Grand mother who had a stroke last month which caused slight issues with her vision and memory. Every one loves it! Its perfect. Exactly as described online.****I recommend getting the protection plan. After 6 months of working fine the clock reversed as if it was being held up to a mirror (picture attached). My grandmother loves it so I guess I'll be repurchasing WITH the protection plan.

Bought this for my papa who was on a strict 4x/day course of antibiotics. I was worried he’d fall asleep after the midnight dose & forget to reset the alarm for 6am. My ma brought it to his house and set it up for him (we’re in different states) & he was very impressed, per his report. Easy to read & hear due to customization. It allows for basic alarms & medication reminders, which triggers an alarm stating that it’s time to take the medication. He said it also saved him from driving to his doctor’s office (1h ride) the one morning he woke up thinking it was Monday on a Sunday. Anything we can do for this great man is our pleasure! But knowing he likes it, found it helpful AND actually uses it made this purchase priceless. He’s in his 80s.

This is the most favorite clock I have ever gotten! It tells you whether it's dawn, night, afternoon, etc. You can see it from anywhere inthe room, and it is attractive on my table. I am delighted with it!!

My dad has trouble remembering the day, date and time due to some cognitive impairment. Calendars and analog clocks were getting difficult for him to reference. Any of the clocks sold specifically for dementia are more expensive. I decided to try this display, and so far, my dad seems to really like it. He likes being able to look at it and read out the day, date and time 'all at once'. Medical issues and early retirement can be disorienting. It's easy to lose track of the days. This format is large and easy to read, and reassures my dad of what time it is "morning or afternoon" when the numbers dont always click in his brain. The one downside to this model is that you have to plug it into a power outlet. It's not battery powered. Since we wanted it on the wall, we had to choose a place near an outlet. However, it was present and fully programmed when it was plugged in the first time! No having to figure out how to program it. That was super convenient.

This clock is very helpful. When I described it to mother's doctor, he was impressed with idea. A coworker suggested that Alexa doesn't mind answering the same question over and over, But mother also suffers hearing loss so a Smart Speaker proved no help.

Failed after six weeks. Just like other reported problems, clock display was a mirror image and could not be corrected. Called Amazon tech support who helped with return. Disappointing because we really liked the clock.
