Brought it for a father's day gift. Dad loves it. It does everything he needs and even cuts braid line. Sheath works best on waders but it is still very usable.

I got these for my brother-in-law, since I already have a similar set myself, and he’s a keen sea fisherman.The pliers come in a handy pouch, with a belt loop, and are attached via an elasticated cable and carabineer. Meaning they’re always on hand when you need them and you’re not going to wonder where you’ve put them down. There’s a little clip on the inside which keeps them closed when not in use. There’s 4 useful tools on there to use. You also get the one-handed, spring-loaded lip gripped, which has a soft grip handle.It’s a decent enough set for the money, but I personally prefer the quality of my pliers.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Great little kot

A great addition to a fishing set!Very impressed with the functions of this product.Great quality and made well.Ergonomic and fits nicely in your palm.Easy to use and works brilliantly.

First, the package arrived on time and well-packaged discreetly to prevent porch piracy! Let's start with the pliers. I picked the orange handles which stick out in stark relief on my blue and white inflatable boat. There's no messing about locating them as I secure the lanyard keeper to the boat. I always know where to locate them in a hurry. I've always struggled with a pair of needle-nosed pliers which rust badly each season. The stainless steel is a step up! If nothing else I'll save money replacing rust pliers! I've always wrestled with split rings and these pliers make it easy! The hook remover makes releasing a fish much faster and easier and doesn't stress the fish as much. The built-in line cutter saves me from having to pull out my lock-blade knife - another time-saver. The handle is comfortable in my small hands and the crimping tools on the blades would be great if I used sinkers. I like the fact that the pliers have a spring which makes them "ready to go" at a moments notice. When finished with them, they have a handy locking mechanism that keeps them closed. They come with a very basic scabbard that can be attached to your belt but I don't expect it would last more than 1 season with constant use. Don't factor it into your purchase decision.The fish lip gripper seems to be made of quality material. I like the fact that it has an adjustable wrist lanyard so you won't lose it overboard. My small fingers found it tricky to pull back the jaw-locking mechanism and maintain the pressure while holding the handle simultaneously. I regularly handle 20+ lb pike and Musky so I am concerned about my grip slipping while handling the fish. I've added a piece of coarse grit sandpaper to the pull mechanism to assist my fingers and it seems to help considerably. Once locked in place there are no issues and I find the rubber handle quite comfortable. This tool could be larger but a perk is that it doesn't overwhelm the storage space in my tackle bag. It's always nice to know if I accidentally drop the tool, the lanyard will prevent the loss of the tool in the lake. I recommend this tool set! I'll update at the end of the season once it has been field tested.

This is a great set to keep on hand for fishing. The tools are very durable and work well.This was ordered for a teen who loves to fish and is an excellent set for beginner's up to the lifelong fishermen alike.Overall, this is a great quality product and it's nice that there is a variety of tools that come with the set for convenience. I'll be ordering more of these for the other fishing lovers in my family.

Die Angeltools von J&D haben wirklich eine ausgesprochen hohe Qualität und sind super funktionell. Die Haken Lösezange wie auch die Lippenzange haben eine sehr gute Haptik und sind aus hochwertigen Materialien gefertigt. Auch nach vielen Stunden am Wasser und dem Regen ausgesetzt zeigen die Angeltools keinerlei Anzeichen von Korrosion. Wie findet das Angebot eine sehr gute Preis-Leistung da man gleich lippenzange und hakenlösezange in einem bekommt. Auch positiv zu erwähnen bleibt es die Lösezange in einem Etui geliefert wird und mit einer Kette z.B am Rucksack oder Gürtel befestigt werden kann. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung und 5 Sterne.
