Maybe I'm not experienced in using bath salts, but I expected these to be a similar experience to bath bombs, and they aren't. I didn't find the scent to be quite strong enough, and the water remains completely clear. Certainly no bubbles. It is a little difficult to get them to dissolve, but I stir them with my feet and they do eventually mostly disappear. I do find my skin is soft after using them, and they are not irritating at all. One bag will last about 3 baths.

It smells really nice and it makes me feel good to soak in it.

Without opening the bag, the lavender scent of this bath salt is pretty strong already. According to the instructions, they recommend 100 to 300 grams each time. I ended up using the lower end of that recommendation since the entire bag is only 450 grams. Even with the lower amount, the entire bathroom smelled like the scent from the bag. After soaking in the tub for 20+ minutes, it was very relaxing. The scent was still definitely there throughout. I would recommend not using too much of this bath salt each time since a little is enough. Plus, you'll get more than 2 uses per bag at that rate.The only negative I have is that the product doesn't fully dissolve. There were these black flakes that were present after the bath. I have used it twice and had it. I couldn't see anything in the bag like that but only showed up after the salts dissolved. These flakes also smelled just like the lavender from the salts which led me to believe they could only come from the bag of salt.

These bath salts do have a nice, mild lavender fragrance.However, I had a bit of trouble using them as they are very thick. They never dissolved completely, even after 30 minutes of soaking in a hot bathtub. I did not notice any soothing or moisturizing effects that some bath salts provide, nor did the water feel softer. The tap water in my home is very hard so I can usually notice any improvement in water softness quickly, so this was disappointing. Some salts help with aches and pains, and this product did not do anything for a backache and joint pain that is usually relieved with a hot bath.Note the size of the bag - 450 grams. Based on the instructions, using the lowest recommended amount, you would only get 4 uses out of this. It's rather pricey for what is ultimately scented salt with no other benefits that I could detect.
