My husband and I bought this book for teen nieces and nephews to begin learning and practicing personal finance. We also established an allowance for them to divide betwern giving, saving, and spending (in that order). The book is written by a teacher who uses her students' stories and voices to reveal real-life experiences, mistakes, and lessons about money. It meets teens where they are and on their own terms to make powerful points about how to be in control of their finances. These are lifelong lessons that parents van learn and use as well.

My son's love the book and definitely learned info to properly guide them into adulthood. Worth the money, this type of info is sadly not taught in school as it should.
