DEWALTDT9521QZ 6.5 x 210 mm Extreme 2 SDS Plus Drill Bit

I often use this bit for pilot holes in brick. It helps me avoid crumbling and so my wall plugs have a nice tight fit in the wall. Its difficult to find SDS bits in this size so I was worried it wouldn't work well but it has worked perfectly so far. No need to switch to another drill just for a small pilot hole.

This product broke on the first use. I contacted the manufacturer (seller) and they responded but suggested the product is limited. I drilled into breeze block.

I use this to start some pilot holes in walls/concrete with coarse / granular surface to try to get more accurate hole centres, opening up with larger sds after pilot hole.These do the job.

Arrived on time, packed in a padded jiffy bag with the plastic holder the bit comes in.Bit made in GermanyNot yet put to use but all looks good as of now.Recommended

I bought two of these and both of them snapped after about 3 uses, they didn't seem to cope with the concrete and brick part of the wall that i was drilling, that was even after I'd made a pilot hole with a regular masonary drill bit. I bought these because being De Walt they would be at least half decent but alas that isn't the case. I wont be buying these again.

Didn’t really want 3 but I’m happy with the purchase so far, they seem like good bits but time will be the great decider

Great drill bit use it every day fitting doors. Would highly recommend buying this. I must have drilled over 500 holes and still keeps on going.

NOT SDS drills, NOT 5.5mm (they are 8mm), and NOT 160mm long... they are 150mm.The only thing correct in the description is the Manufacturer!
