The 15th Century Wargamers Tome
The Wars of the Roses is always a funny one to try and wargame. Too few models and it can look like something out of Monty Python, too many and you break the bank. With Peter Dennis new set of Paper Soldiers however some of these issues are resolved. Certainly once again the ability to convey a huge range of mid 15th century troops from bill and bowmen, to more obscure galloglass and Swiss Landsknechts means that the scope of your battles is completely up to you. Certainly with retinues now being based clearly on the liveries of certain individuals, possibly the ability to customise and represent the more obscure retinues involved is limited. Equally the Scots pikemen, although rendered brilliantly, do seem to be more suited to the previous century. But these are minor niggles and I think this set of models will once again prove a massive success, propelling Warwick the Kingmaker quickly and easily onto your wargames table

Buy it!!
Certainly the most economical method of wargaming. and to think the potential to forever build armies in this period lasts forever there is little else to add. Certainly gets my recommendation. I have bought all of the games in this system and would class them all as "musts".

Versatile Paper Toy Soldiers
The paper soldiers in the book are around 28mm tall. I reduced them to 71% and then based them up to us with the popular miniatures game L'art de la Guerre Rules in 15mm-18mm scale. They look fantastic.
