Easy to use!
The media could not be loaded. I like these dumbbells. I haven't had any before so these were a good intro. I don't know how others work but these ones you just twist the handle when they're on the rack to change the weight and it was super easy and the lighter weights came right out. They seem pretty sturdy for now, we'll see how they hold up after a good amount of use. Also - not that it actually matters but I like the pattern on them!

Boom
They’re fantastic. They are plastic coated. Just buy them. Not bulky like the bow flex. Not oddly shaped and hard to reconfigure like the block changeable dumbbells. They just work great conveniently and not super noisy. Keep in mind. The box that arrives is super heavy and very bulky it is triple packed. So be careful to them. Box is fun.

Excellent adjustable option
The media could not be loaded. These are an excellent option in place of having an assortment of dumbbell weights in your home. This is a solid set and the different weight options click satisfyingly, ensuring you that the correct weight is locked in.We have four different people in the family who lift weights and different exercises require more or less relative weight. The result is that we had started to accumulate quite the collection of different dumbbells. This is a much better option, that will take the place of most of them. Because it is in 9-pound increments, many people will still need some other dumbbells, particularly at the lower weights, but this will capably replace most mid- to heavy weights in most home gyms.Video included shows how easy it is to select different weight.

Terrific grips
We have BowFlex adjustable dumbbells, so we do have a point of comparison for these. My husband much prefers the grip on these GR8FLEX dumbbells. He finds it much easier to adjust the weight on these versus the BowFlex, which requires two hands. Additionally, he finds these dumbbells to be more aesthetically pleasing, which is just a nice added bonus. The only potential negative for him, is the large gaps in weight options, which isn't a problem with the BowFlex. Overall, a really nice set of adjustable dumbbells, and he does recommend them.

Genius Design
This Dumbbell set is an engineering masterpiece. The manufacturing specs are very precise and exacting. The materials are advanced and extremely durable. I've used these "types" of set from other brands and they always felt cheap and did not hold up.I have pounded on these for a while and they are 100%. Like New!If you are looking for a high quality set, then these are the ones for you.

Very Smart Design
These dumbbells are great for the whole family because of the adjustable weight. It is easy enough for my young son who is 9 years old to change the weight on these dumbbells. All you have to do is twist. The interlocking system that allows you to add or remove weight is a secure design. We have not had any issues with any weight falling off.

Good feel, but quirky
The argument for adjustable dumbbells is price and space efficiency. 10 + 19 + 28 + 37 + 46 + 55 = 195 x 2 = 390. Normal dumbbells are around $1.25 / pound so if you found dumbbells in these weights you would need to spend about $480+. At $438 these are more expensive than other adjustable dumbbells per pound so the selling point is more about the space saved than money saved.First off, the packaging these came in was impressive. With a 110+ pounds in a box I was worried the box would be half broken but the styrofoam and thick cardboard did an exception job of shipping these with 0 damage. As others mentioned the 9 pound increments is different but doesn't really bother me. The main thing I'm worried about is the plastic male/female dovetail-like joints that connect each plate. They seem pretty sturdy but 40+ pounds coming down at the wrong angle - I'm worried that could break and if that happened I think it would render any weight above/outside the break unusable. The other quirk is sometimes the joints don't come together - you really have to go straight up and down with some precision to get the outside plates to connect properly. However, the twisting mechanism feels sturdy and reliable and the handle / shape is about perfect compared to other dumbbells.
