I had to keep pushing the head down, no matter what it would not stay all the way down to have a true fit. The color was beautiful received a lot of compliments the string was a little annoying.

Exactly what I needed to finish the the off the totally cheesey bandit look and feel of the 80's.... Sorry Burt (rip)...It fits good a looks the part, though not as good as the bandit did it!

The hat looked as shown but was more like cardboard than felt. The box it came in was crushed and so was the hat. If I didn’t need it for a party, probably would have returned.

Liked the style

I purchased this to complete a Halloween costume ($10 at the time I bought it). The hat arrived quickly and was what I expected for the price. It's clearly meant for costume/play, and not a true accessory to be worn daily. I removed the hat band (cheap vinyl w a few dots of hot glue to hold it on) and the chin strap. It rained on the night I wore it and, surprisingly, it actually did a fairly decent job of keeping my head dry (except for the two little weep holes left behind by removing the chin strap). Having worn it twice, I definitely got my money's worth out of the hat, and now my kids can enjoy it when they play. If you're just looking for an inexpensive accessory to complete a costume, I would recommend this item.
