We like it!
The set up:We put out a few bags on our deck, and have noticed not just less mosquitos, but less bugs as well. Our location is a mosquito's heaven, so this - and all natural mosquito repellants - has their work cut out for them. We do use other natural products such as natural incense, candles, and oils at the same time. I think the only way we could be truly mosquito free is with a fan that delivers hurricane force winds and a flame thrower. The scent:The scent was delightfully intense when we first set them out, eliminating both mosquitos and humans. I'd say it eased up in about 30 minutes, and it's been very nice since. The bags have been out for a little less than a month. We still get a whiff of them on the occasional breeze.Effectiveness:The bags are set around ankle level in the driest places we could manage. Results: Clear skies for the first week. Sometimes we're too lazy to pull out all the candles and sticks and things, leaving the bags to do their work solo. We'll see some skeeters from the waist up. Our ankles still seems to be safe, and bites from waist up are very low.Summary:I can give this an honest 5 star rating. There were noticeably less BUGS on our deck after setting these out. Like most things, as it loses it's potency, it loses it's effectiveness. A likely fact that I have embraces for all natural products. The quoted 60-90 days could be a stretch (at least for us). I would imagine those numbers depend on where the bags are placed and weather conditions.

Works better than citronella, smells great
Love these! I line 4 around our patio in the Pacific NW and put them back in a plastic bag when we go in. Lasts a full month or more that way. Keeps most mosquitoes away.

Works, but not for very long.
I had an inundation of flies and mosquitoes on our patio and haven't been able to sit outside and enjoy the warm Southern California weather. Nobody likes to have insects flying in your face when you're trying to eat. Add my Skeeter Syndrome to that and I really didn't want to be out on the patio. I decided to try this and hung one inside of a mesh bag on the doorknob outside and within a day, there were no more flies or mosquitoes. Exactly one week later, we decided to eat dinner outside on the patio and the mosquitoes were back. Luckily, I had decided to still cover up and managed not to get bitten, but my husband got a few bites. Now, two more days later, the flies have returned. Maybe the scent dissipates faster due to the hot weather? Or maybe I need to use more than one at a time?Be careful when opening the package because it is very oily inside and can make a mess. I also keep the unused ones inside of another sealed bag because the smell is very strong.

Strong and Oily
I bought these to carry on my backpack to deter spotted lantern flies from landing on me and to deter mosquitos in my office at work. This is more of a first impression than a review because at the time of this writing, I haven't encountered pests as a test.First Impression: I highly recommend removing these with oil resistant gloves. I use Fend Wellness mitts. The smell is strong and difficult to wash off of your hands. I washed multiple times and ended up putting perfume on my hands. I placed about 5 in my office and the scent traveled well beyond my office. I hurried to put all but two away into a drawer. That said, I am confident that they'll work if the scent's an indicator. Time will tell and I'll update my review then.Minue a couple of stars for not packaging these in a way that buyers are aware of how oily they are to the touch. Maybe place them in cloth bags and raise the price a bit.

These things work!
The mosquitoes have been brutal this year! I’ve hardly wanted to go outside because I’d be covered in mosquito bites within minutes! But even being a recluse and staying inside wasn’t enough! They were getting inside the house every time we opened the door to let the dog in and out, so there was nowhere to go to escape their insatiable appetite for my apparently irresistible ankles! Our dog wants to be let outside about 5000 times a day. And if you’ve ever tried to get a dog to “hurry up” then you know this is an exercise in futility on the grandest of scales! Obviously we have to let the dog out (yes, I just answered that age-old question. It was us!) But so I got these mosquito repellent bags to place just outside the front door and the back door to keep them from trying to come in the house. It worked! At first I thought I would put some inside the house too but the smell is WAY TOO STRONG to have inside! It’s not a bad smell, it just smells like a citronella candle on steroids! So I placed them just outside the doors and that seems to be enough to keep those little blood suckers away! (There is no proof that these will work on ALL blood stickers, i.e. lawyers, IRS agents, etc but they’re so effective I might just try it!)

Waste of money
The scent is so strong I thought they would work. Started by keeping one just outside the sliding doors. The scent was just too strong it made me sneeze and still got bit by mosquitos.

Worked well while camping
We only used the bags for a long weekend but mosquitoes have been horrendous this summer and I was willing to try all the things.Compared to our friends on either site around us, our did seem to be the less buggy spot and thus drew everyone over to our campfire.Would recommend, and will buy again for the right situation. They smell nice, but look a little weird - I was asked a couple of times what they were. They look a little like a tightly rolled dirty diaper - so hiding them in plain sight is best. We put them under the picnic table and around the perimeter.
