WHITINMen's Wide Barefoot Shoes | Canvas Minimalist Sneakers | Zero Drop Sole

Fit, weight, style, function all excellent
I take a men’s US12. Another brand I researched was unable to fit me despite a few tries. But this one is spot on and fits perfectly. Wide toe box and room to wiggle the piggies ; nice lacing snugs up the fit without distorting the shape of the shoe; comfortable removable (to wash) shoe liner; canvas upper is a rugged type of excellent quality - breathable - lightweight - reinforced in exactly the right places; this shoe is not a soft, floppy design like a slipper - instead it keeps its shape. Frankly, I’m psyched to have these healthy shoes and after the first test, in my crop field all afternoon - wood working, digging; standing most of the time, I have no complaints, just gratitude for the engineers who put this concept together. Five stars.

Great value. Very roomy.
I've been wearing these for a couple months now and enjoy them. These shoes are spacious and comfy. The inside isn't soft and fluffy like some shoes. The soles are thin so you can feel the ground. Clean design and not odd looking like ive experienced with a different brand. They are cheaper shoes so it's not Xero or Vivobarefoot but you get great value. It's perfect for what I wanted.

They’re INTENTIONALLY wide, people.
My usual shoe size: US 11.5-12 (women’s)Ordered: US 11 / EU 45 (men’s), WHITEI just got them, so I can’t comment on long term comfort or durability. But so far, they are very comfortable! I don’t have super wide feet from sole to heel, but I’ve been wanting a little more space in the toe box area for my bunions and wiggle room for my toes (apparently that’s part of why I have bunions. Who’da thunk). These fit great for what I was wanting! It blows my mind how many people gave these a low rating because of how wide they are. THAT’S LITERALLY THE WHOLE ENTIRE POINT. If you aren’t intentionally shopping for “wide toe box” shoes for a good healthy toe splay (google it), then these probably wouldn’t be a good fit for you! 🙂I personally like the look of the wider, rounded toe. I’m 6’ and have larger feet than the average woman (thanks mom), so I always think sneakers with a narrow toe makes my feet look long and funny. iiii think the width makes them look more proportional to my body and not “clown like” at all. But that’s just my opinion!I would say the canvas color is a true, clean, bright white. The laces and patch on the heel are a bit more cream…which I love!I docked one star for the outer toe area being caved in on both shoes. It was hard to capture in a picture, but they are just smashed in. I’m sure it was an issue with how tightly they were packaged together, and they’ll hopefully loosen up to their original shape with time and wear. I might stuff something in them to speed up the re-shaping process a little. It’s not a huge deal, nor is it a deal breaker…I just think a brand new pair of shoes should arrive good to go and ready to wear! 🙂All that being said, I would probably purchase them again. Even if they only last me a little while, you get what you pay for and the price was right for me! Hope this helps someone.

Cute, basic, decent quality and great price point.
These are good, basic sneakers for transitioning to barefoot shoes, or if you're just looking for some wide shoes.Good room in the toe for most feet, although if you have extra wide feet, you may find them wanting. The fabric is less forgiving than the mesh version, or even the other canvas version. The uppers are stiffer, and therefore tighter in the forefoot and midfoot. Where my other two pairs of Whitins didn't pinch my foot right underneath the toe joint, these do. I expect they'll loosen up after some wearing. And again, if your feet are average, you may not have this problem. Also, I've said it and I'll say it again: I wish they had a half size.Otherwise, I'm satisfied. Glad to have an affordable way to accommodate wide feet. Glad to have some cute, white sneakers to wear this summer.

Just what I wanted
The shoe delivers on what it promises, a wide toe box and a zero drop. After trying on a large number of name brand shoes these were the first ones that actually felt comfortable, and in some cases better constructed. I was worried about a no-name Chinese brand but am actually quite happy with the shoe.My only complaint is that the canvas upper feels a bit tight on the top of the foot, but I think as I'm wearing them it's going away. They also produce a model with a mesh/stretch upper that I'm going to try out.Their sizing is a little tricky, measure your foot and use the guide. I'm typically a 10.5m, but using the guide I went with a 9.5/43 and it fits perfect. Given recommendations by others I went up one size from the pure measurement, which would have put me at a 8.5, this seems to have been the correct choice.

Fits perfect, wide feet.
I always have to size up because of wide feet. With these I wear a whole size down! In usual shoes I wear an 11, in wides I can do 10.5. In these I’m a 10. They do fit really snug and without any pain. They feel like they’re already broken in as soon as you put them on. The snugness is perfect for being on the move, and it’s actually more comfortable than having extra room. Feels like wearing a sock almost. It’s also nice you can wash them if they get dirty. They do shrink slightly if you dry them with heat but they go right back after about an hour of wearing. Overall the best fitting shoe I’ve ever had. Unfortunately I also bought a pair of WHITIN trainers in the same size that fit nicely as well, but not nearly as nicely as these ones. The trainers seem a little bigger but I think it’s due to the fabric it’s made of. The trainers are a knit fabric and use a rubber piece in the middle/soul area of the foot for the laces and you need it really tight because the rest of the shoe fits more loosely because it’s knit fabric. The tightness of the lacing part actually hurts my feet when running, and if it’s not tight enough my feet slide. Thinking of getting a pair of these for training as well, they seem better. I’ll need a few pairs!

Mince semelle
