We thought wrong
We ordered these thinking they were rip cord racing turtles on skateboards. Nope. They just spin in a circle. You place them on their included toy and watch them spin. Massive waste of money and time. Can we get toy companies to get back to making fun toys please?

Not very intriguing to play with
I bought these to use on a birthday cake and for that purpose they worked fine. As a toy I am not sure they are worth the money. The balancing and spinning that they do is fun to watch maybe the first couple of times but then what? You also have to really pull the cord hard and fast to get them to spin. That is hard for a younger child to do. The cord does nothing to the wheels so they do not self propel.

Not as expected
These are very difficult to use. The turtles will not balance on the item unless you are holding down the item, which is difficult when you are trying to pull the rip cord, then balance the turtle on the item and then grab the item without knocking off the turtle. The rip cord doesn't power the wheels, just makes a vibration. These are better suited as turtles on skateboard and used more like you would a matchbox car. Maybe they balance better on the skatepark, but as sold, they aren't that great. Both my 8 and 5 year olds lost interest after a couple of minutes and struggles.
