This is a great to have when you want to know the weather and temp outside and inside at all times. It was very easy to set up. It does take a total of five AAA batteries that are not included. After adding the batteries, all you have to do is set your time set a channel and you are all set to go. The smaller device goes outside so that the larger display in the home tells you what is going on inside and out. I love that I don't have to go out and be surprised by the humidity, this lets you know it all. Over all a great device to have.

The outdoor sensor states that it's 99% relative humidity outside. I live in Southern Arizona so it might be a tad off. If the outdoor part is important to you, don't buy.

The product works fine and I like the light feature that automatically turns off to save the battery. You do need to have it in specific spot outside to stay synced, and even then, it seems to change channel on its own. Product looked like a previous return.Update: product stopped working within 6 months.

The remote sensor worked for 1 day. I tried replacing all batteries (including in base) with brand new alkaline batteries. The remote sensor would not sync with base on any of the 3 channels. I tried re-registering from base after switching to each channel on both sensor and base (removing all batteries and re-inserting them in both devices in between). Without being able to work with remote sensor, most of the functionality is no longer relevant.

Totally inaccurate. The inside, larger base was indicating an outside temp of 128 degrees Fahrenheit one day, which was 40 degrees above the true outside temp. Prior to that it seemed pretty accurate, but once I saw that I could not trust the readings at all, so it was returned.

I purchased the product about 2 months ago and have been using it since. I see others report it is not accurate, but I can't comment on that because I have not verified it. It worked well, but stopped working after 2 months- really disappointing. I was not able to reach the seller not sure if it's because the item is currently unavailable
