Doesn’t pour properly
This is what is claimed by the company: “ A perfect pourEnjoy pouring each cup with this teapot's wide and comfortable handle.”This is NOT my experience. As soon as you tip the pot to pour ou, tea dribbles down the outside of the spout and on to the kitchen worktop. I’d send it back, but of course we’ve now used it and having had trouble with Amazon accepting the return and replacement of a previous faulty item, I really can’t be bothered with another battle!Such a shame as otherwise I quite like it. The stainless steel removable loose tea holder looks to be of good quality, though we don’t use it and it’s a good size for two large cups of tea - even allowing for the bit that misses the cup!

Solid, but uncomfortable to hold and doesn't pour very well
When the pot arrived I filled it with water and poured it out into the sink and immediately noticed that it wasn't very comfortable to hold and that there is no gradual transition from a gentle pour to a gushing stream, it just switches from one to the other. The best way to pour into a cup is to rest the end of the spout on the edge of the cup, that way if you trip to the gushing stream it still goes in the cup and not all over the table. It is nice and heavy which helps it keep the tea warm.

Beautifull, practical, a true classic !
I really love those teapots, they are trully beautilluf, and very practical. A pleasure to use. It is just a shame that they are made in China, and not in England. I like to have chinese teapots made in China and english teapots made in England. I would have gladly paid more for a teapot of this design and quality if it was made in the UK.

Like the infuser but can’t get a hpt brew
Purchased to replace a London Teapot that I accidentally broke and a pot I loved. The in-built infuser works well and has encouraged me to go back to tealeaves. I’d forgotten how much better leaf tea is. But it is difficult to get a hot brew with this pot. It is possible but one has to 3/4 fill it with boiling water and let the pot stand for 2-3 minutes, boil the kettle again and make tea in the usual way to achieve a hot cuppa.I do like the infuser which works well, is less hassle than a tea strainer and cleans easily. The infuser also clips the lid in place so no risk of it falling out when pouring. The spout is quite thick and pouring is restricted to 6-7mm diameter flow which is o.k., but slow. It is necessary to hold the spout over the pot when pouring as it drips.Would I buy again, a definite ‘no’ because I have ordered a different make and will decide whether this one goes to landfill or to store as a spare.

Great teapot
I like this teapot, I bought it for my husband as he drinks a lot of tea I personally only drink coffee (lol). The great thing about this teapot is that the infuser pot is great for putting a teabag in and also easy to take out so you don't have to find it in the pot. Thus teapot is the correct size for a 2 mugs/cups of tea, the last one was only 2 small cups of tea so was a bit of a pain.Went for the brown colour so that it doesn't look a mess when its been used. The spout pours very well and doesn't leave a mess over your side.Would highly recommend this teapot, a happy husband means I get an easy life especially as he works from home since this lockdown.

Terrible filter
I've got the 2 cup white tea pot and the filter scratches the pot and leaves nasty marks around the top which cannot be removed - at actually came with some of these scratches. When the filter is in place it pushes the lid to the side so it sits awkwardly, removing the filter is a faff and not particularly safe with a small pot. Why they couldn't just have a standard filter beats me - I'm really disappointed.

Colour wasnt quite as described.
First the good parts: Its a great shape, it was packaged very well and took it to canada in a hold case and it survived, i loved the little internal tea strainer, was a really nice touch and felt very high end.The Bad Part: The colour was much lighter than I was expecting and I would say slightly inconsistent, I was hoping for a really solid darker brown colour. Instead what arived was a more washed out brown, almost as if the glaze had been watered down. (i have no idea if thats what happened its just how i would use to describe it)It serves it purpose well and it is a good price, but if your looking for that really bold Brown Betty style and colour, go for a different teapot.

Nice big teapot
I sadly broke my 10 cup teapot and this was the biggest one I could get. It is a slightly different and uglier shape and colour to the picture but it never shows as it is always under a teacosy! It pours well and the lid always stays on because of a natty little device on the metal infuser, which is what you want in a teapot. The infuser is metal not plastic so gold star for the company! I miss the little knob on the front of the pot to hold onto when pouring from a heavy pot so 4 stars. The teapot arrived safely as it was well packaged without plastic so overall an excellent purchase.
