Easy to install, no modifications needed. Operates a bit louder than the original name-brand ice maker, not a big deal at all. Has operated flawlessly for a month so far. Just under 50 bucks, so well worth it.

Let's see if the 3rd one will work. I doubt it.First one the heating element that releases the ice was defective. 2nd one tripped the breaker instantly upon turning it back on after after install. 3rd one is on its way but I don't have high hopes. This is a direct fit and plug to my frididaire gallery so was hoping to save a little money. I'm waiting to see if the 3rd one will work to save multiple trips to return them all together.

Good for the price. Cheaper than having a appliance repair guy come out. This literally took me 15 min. Once installed. Wait for it to get to temperature to start working.

Easy to install with simple tools . The first one they shipped was broken . I returned it and got another shipped right away. The second one worked great , no problems in the 4 months I've had it. It seems identical to the original. I would have given 5 stars if the first one wasn't broken.
