I ordered these Saffron capsules because I'm a strong believer in herbal and other complementary therapies and like to try new things. For me, they were not a success.The saffron is delivered in a standard size capsule which I find perfectly easy to take under the tongue, with a huge gulp of water. Saffron is an expensive and prized spice and I was interested to see from other reviews that it does appear to lift low mood for some people. I tried it several times with a gap of a few days inbetween, but each time I felt shaky and desperately drowsy, almost dead on my feet, the next day.Perhaps it takes time to acclimatise to taking Saffron but there is no compelling reason for me to try to do so.This is a Vegan capsule prepared and sold in a responsible way and obviously suits some customers, so I gave it four stars - but I won't be buying it again.

I think that these are working I am starting to feel the difference. I think I am craving things less

My first time trying Saffron supplements and was curious about their effects. So far I cannot say if they have done anything helpful for me as I am taking quite a few different supplements at this time.I will report back if any changes are made.

First of all, I am not sure if this had any effects on me, as I have taken it for a few days but not seeing/feeling any difference yet.Secondly, the product has a very strong smell of plastic, not sure if it is the product , the capsule material or the packaging itself. It is quite unpleasant as if swallowing plastic, although it is tasteless to the tongue.Hence giving only 3 stars as it is not appealing for meDo note that the key ingredient, Saffron, is not originated from UK.

I got these supplements to help boost my mood when my anxiety is high. Saffron is known to be an aid with mood and has anti inflammatory properties . Knowing that they are vegan is important to me and that they are made in the UK supports a home based business, whilst knowing they are good quality.The tablets are large, I find them easy to take, but some may not. They leave no aftertaste. You get 60 tablets - taking one per day. For £17.95 (at time of review), this works out about 30p per day. Not the cheapest, but in my opinion worth it.I've found that they do work a little. Don't get me wrong, this is no wonder tablet (as none are), but I've found myself being able to focus a little more when stressed. I will continue to purchase these tablets.A great product, I recommend.
