The levers do a good job of gripping the mic in place. Ideal for a 48-52mm diameter condenser mic. Metal construction is much better than the cheaper plastic ones that bend and break easily. The rubber bands have a sturdy looking connector so should not break apart like the cheap shoe-lace types do.

So the pop filter doesn't tighten on mine... or at least I can't see how to tighten it! It just flops around. But due to the way I have the mic angled, gravity pulls it into exactly the right place where it rests against the mount base. So this is actually none issue for me. Beyond that, the pop filter works well.The shock mount itself seems pretty well built and certainly fits my AT2020+ USB mic perfectly. Although it does make it a little awkward to actually get to the inbuilt dials, they are still reachable.I've never used a shock mount before, so I wasn't entirely sure how much to expect. It certainly doesn't do a perfect job, if I tap my mic arm, the mic still pics up the shocks (and not just the sound being generated). But it doesn't pick up the shocks half as much as it did before. And shocks to the table that run through the mic arm appear to be almost entirely absorbed, with the mic only picking up the actual sound created, rather than the vibrations running through the apparatus.I would buy again.

I bought this predominantly for the shock mount, as I read that the pop filter wasn't up to much and this was the only shock mount that was available for next day delivery and would fit my AT2020usb+. The shock mount is fine, and was easy to fit, seems to be very good quality. I would give it five stars. However, the pop filter is simply not worth having. It is absolutely tiny and very poorly made and 0 stars for that. Given that similar shock mounts are available for half this price on Amazon, do NOT buy this package unless you are happy to throw the pop filter away.

I have an Eikon condenser mic that I used for a variety of purposes. However, on one occasion, I needed to use the mic on a floor standing stand, so purchased this to isolate the microphone from the stand (and floor). It worked very well and I could discern no obvious floor noise transmitted to the mic. The pop shield appears well enough made, however, my Eikon mic has a volume control for it's USB mode meaning that I could not position it low enough in the mount to use the pop shield for testing. This is NOT a slight on the mount, other microphones without any controls will position just fine. I mention this just in case it helps someone with an Eikon condenser mic that might be thinking of this product. I would recommend without hesitation.

Seems well built. All metal construction. Fifine K699D fits perfect. Not much else to say. Fast delivery. Happy with the purchase.

All you need to do is measure the diameter of your mic to see if it fits (I see that is in most questions!). I did. Then I knew I needed this one...Fits my old SE2200 no problem. A little bit fiddly to set up (I'm not the most dextrous of persons) but worked like a charm. Lovely to be able to use my SE2200 again after its old shockmount disintegratedArrived very promptly too via Prime. Highly recommended.
