Great for kids
My 9 year old son has brought this to friends houses and has held up great. The prices being magnetic helps the kids play the game rather than picking up, fallen over pieces.

Checker pieces are NOT magnetic
This is a beautiful set but I specifically purchased as people stated the checkers were magnetic. All chess pieces are magnetic but the checker pieces aren't. I don't understand why most magnetic chess boards that come with checkers don't have the checker pieces magnetic as well. If I didn't want magnetic chess AND checker pieces, I would just purchase a cheaper set.

Nice compact and durable set
Love this set - it is very durable and has a good weight to it. The magnets are just right for my not-so-careful sons who like to play.

Great quality for the price!
I was not expecting much for the price point, but the plastic used is super high quality and thick. The pieces are large and heavy and felt bottoms! Wish this same set came in Black and White and had 2 extra queens. Overall, super nice set and we are very pleased.

Nice quality and magnetic
Nice little set. Not a massive board but I didn’t bother to check this before buying. It’s plenty big enough though. The pieces are actually magnetic and stay put and you can fold it all away with the pieces inside the board. Nice.

Erwartungen voll erfüllt
Das Schachspiel hat meine Erwartungen absolut erfüllt. Schon die Verpackung ist sehr wertig und edel. Auch das Schachbrett macht einen edlen, qualitätsvollen Eindruck mit sehr guter Verarbeitung.Die Magnetwirkung ist mittelstark. Für's Sofa wirds reichen, für's Auto vielleicht nicht. Für mich war das unerheblich, darum gibt es hier voll verdiente fünf Sterne.
