Better than Vetoryl
Our 14 year old dog was diagnosed with Cushings about a year ago. Initially our vet put her on Vetoryl and had us go back regularly for ACTH stimulation tests to see how she was getting on with them. Naturally this was becoming rather expensive and also quite distressing for our dog and we didn't like to see her this way.Whilst on the Vetoryl we noticed very little improvement - she was still wetting a lot and also sleeping a great deal, she didn't seem interested going out and doing anything so I decided to go online and see if there was an alternative that maybe wasn't so harsh for her (due to the effects of Cushings her livers are also quite badly damaged so I was concerned that the Vetoyl may be too strong for her) and this is how I got to learn of Cushex Drops. At first I was skeptical but at a fraction of the price of a month's supply of Vetoryl I thought it was worth a shot. I also believed that even if they didn't work for her then the fact that Cushex is a herbal medicine it couldn't do her any harm. I waited until we'd finished the last box of Vetoryl and then started her on the Cushex. This was around 6 months ago and even now we're still only using the Cushex, and we haven't been back to the vets since. We give her three doses a day with food and the improvement is impressive to say the least! She's more alert and active, more like her old self again, she's no longer losing her fur at the rate she was on Vetoryl, and it's also in much better condition. She still drinks quite a bit due to the advanced stages of Cushings but her wetting is under far more control now - it appears we've got a much more happy and contented dog and she seems far more comfortable which is all we ever wanted for her.I am aware that by taking her off the Vetoryl we may have actually shortened her life, but since Cushings is not really curable in an older dog I highly doubt it's by much, but I truly believe that it was the right decision as her quality of life has improved dramatically. The constant trips to the vets were distressing for both us and our dog and now that we are no longer doing that she's much happier, and all we hope is that she will end her days like this.EDIT 03/11/13:Well sadly we lost our beloved dog on 24/10/13 but we kept her on Cushex right until the last moment and I still believe that it was the right course of action for her. In the end it was just old age that took hold, she lost control of her bowels and also her back end was causing her considerable discomfort as she struggled to walk so we took the very difficult decision to have her put to sleep. This being said I still firmly believe that we would have had to have her put to sleep a lot sooner if we'd have kept her on Vetoryl. Her quality of life was much more important to us than anything and right up until the last moment, although she was struggling, she was always happy to see us and always made the effort to greet us. I truly believe that Cushex really helped her, and made her more comfortable, as her wetting almost completely stopped until her insides had given up completely a few weeks ago. I cannot recommend this product enough and if I could give it more than 5 stars I definitely would.Although it was heartbreaking to have to let her go I take comfort in knowing that we did the best for her and that Cushex really did help her live out her final days as normally as a 15 and a half year old dog possibly could.

It works!
Ruby is a 14year old lab cross. Back in the summer the vet thought she had cushings and wanted to keep her in for tests. We took her home and looked on line. Shortly after this we bought our first bottle of cushex. She really needed it she was panting drinking weeing. The cooler weather came and her symptoms improved not panting or drinking as much but lately she’s been very restless especially in the evening and up during the night then 5.30 in morning needing to go out urgently and also wanting food all the time. So I ordered another bottle. Well 2 days in now we are sure it’s not a fluke. Wow she’s settled sleeping all through the night. Not drinking loads and much happier even getting a wag now. I have made sure she has it 3times a day . Thank you cushex we’ve all got a better life again .

Very good for a 12 year old Daschie
After giving the drops to my 12 year old mini wire Daschie they have helped greatly. She is no longer drinking large amounts of water and her hair is growing back.

Excellent product - it works!!!!
These drops have stopped my aging !4 year old dog Jess, from Peeing about 5 times a day in the house. She now asks to go out , accidents only happen when we don't pick up on her intentions. At night she still has about 30 mins of total confusion and paces about. We were very close to having to put her to sleep about a month, ago, She is now gonna make xmas. We have self diagnosed cushings - all the symptoms, even patches of hair coming out. Would like to know what the type M drops do.

Excellent Product
My old fella has arthritis. He was mistakenly diagnosed with lymphoma nearly three years ago, long job, expensive. He has slowly deteriorated and after seaching the web,I deducted he had all the signs of Cushings.Bloood tests proved right.I did not want him to go through all the tests at this late date, but as you all appreciate,I was desperate for some help. A noticeable improvement is all I can say. He's a lot brighter and although his pain meds make him sleepy, he does bring a toy out of his box on occasion. His appetite is bigger than it ought to be,but who cares ? He has good quality food and treats.I may not have him this time next year, but I've had him longer than I thought I would. His baldies have not shown signs of regrowth yet,but they're no worse.

Simply did not work
I had read the review of this product and was really hopeful it would help solve my dogs problems (and hence my problems as he wakes me up at all hours and constantly needs to go to the loo, eat or drink). Sadly, after 1 month with these drops, they have not made any difference at all. I hope it works for your dogs, but have to report it does not for mine sadly.

This was after a year of trying treatments recommended by the vet
The vet had tried everything to get the cushings under control for my little dog, Sumee, but nothing worked. She was on Lysodren, but that did not work and the dose could not be increased and I did not want to pump more chemicals into her It took about four weeks of using the Cushex drops in conjunction with a very low dose of Lysodren to notice any marked effect. This was after a year of trying treatments recommended by the vet, who said he had never had a case like this. I had done intensive research for a natural treatment, with my lovely vets consent, and everything recommended was also in the cushex drops. Now two months on her stomach is not bloated, her fur is growing, she does not urinate during the night, altho she still drinks excess water during the day, her appetite has lessened, thank goodness, and I have my funny, happy little dog back. The days she has Lysodren I give recommended amount of cushex and the days without Lysodren I increase cushex dosage. Fingers crossed, so far so good. Would highly recommend this product.
