Does not count miles
It does not count miles as advertised. Only steps. If all you want to count is steps, there are cheaper models that are just as good.

Start on 8.
I like the quality of the item, but, the reset button is under the removable clip, which is very snug to the pedometer. You have to fumble with it every day to use the pedometer. Most important though, is that it does NOT count every step. It starts on your 8th step. Best use for this item would be an actual walk, not just counting every step during your day. Like when in the kitchen, two or three steps back and forth, a pause, back to the stove, to the fridge, etc. Every step counts in my life. Just something to think about.

Worked great, but didn't survive the washer
Worked great until I forgot it in my pocket on laundry day. Too bad it isn't waterproof, I'll have to buy another one.

I like not being tethered to my phone to keep track of my steps.
Since I don't like wearing this on a lanyard I am concerned that I may lose it while walking because the clip doesn't have a tight grip. But, the pedometer works great and meets my needs very well.

Really disappointed with this purchase. It just stops working within a week or so of activating new battery, without warning/notice.
