This hat is nice and very smart looking. The weight is medium, and the fabric is not itchy. It fits my rather large head (which is often a problem with hats online) but not large enough to cover my ears comfortably, which is not a problem as it's transitional for fall into winter.

I wear a size 7 3/8 hat (23 3/8 inches/59 cm.), so it can be difficult to find womens' hats that fit my big head! The size large in this brand fit my head perfectly and is roomy enough that I can also tuck my hair up underneath it when I want. I bought the "grey satin lined" version, and it is beautiful and well-made; could easily pass for a much more expensive hat (I did remove the little metal brand logo - it's just stitched on, so it was easy to remove with scissors). The fabric of the hat is not super dense like wool - it's similar to the weight of a good flannel shirt, so it can easily be worn most of the year. Definitely going to get more colors!

not for small head

This black hat is the 3rd one for me. It goes over the ears which is important for me because it is very cold here in the winter when I’m walking. I like the big visor too because it keeps snow out of my eyes. Also, it is warm! I think it is very cute un.

Okay. I have a small head, I ordered the medium and I swear to God it is for a shrunken head tribe because there is no freaking way this fits anything but a doll. I'm extremely disappointed because in the picture it looks huge and loose and even on my small head it is freaking tiny and migraine inducingly tight

I like the fabric which is firm but not stiff nor is it too floppy. I like the lining, it will protect my hair, I like that although it is considered an average it works for my smaller head, especially since I have a full head of hair. I also like that it covers my full head, right down to the nap but it does not go over my ears. I like that the brim is not over sized. I like that it is not age specific, girls and women if any age can wear this well. Thank you. I have my fall / winter all occasions hat.

This hat is perfect for me! I love cabbie hats but am fussy about the fit and the brim. I am pleasantly surprised with the quality, fit and inner lining. It's not 100% merino wool which is great because it's not itchy.
