Looks good
I was sad to say goodbye to my 1910 antique desk fan and was not looking forward to trying to find a 2024 replacement. This fan preforms well and looks passably vintage. Nice metal stand. Most importantly, I'm sure it's a lot safer.

Hunter quality. Last Hunter table fan lasted 10+ years. Ceiling fans are the best.
This fan does not look as heavy duty as previous generation Hunter.

Nice fan, but how quiet is it.
Nice fan. Easy to assemble and solid. Looks great. I bought the fan based on the "quiet" label. Disappointed to find it loud compared to the fan it was replacing. The engineer in me said how loud? So used my calibrated sound meter and found it 56 dB on lowest setting and just got louder. I must admit this fan is quiet for the power it has. However, circulating air quietly in my home office is my critical requirement. My current worn Boston oscillation fan measures 46 dB. Returned the item and will carry on with my old fan.

Quiet fan
Just what I was looking for to replace our old Hunter fan. Easy assembly. Perfect for above refrigerator because controls are in the front. I meant to order a black one but the brushed nickel looks nice as well

Awful Humming Electrical noise
I bought this to replace a previous Hunter fan that died after about 4 years of use, which is pretty lame. This new unit has an awful hum, i'm not talking the noise of the fan, its like an electrical hum from a bad transformer. I love the sound of a loud fan, but this is not a good sound, more like turn it off before it catches fire sound. Poor quality just got worse...Can anyone explain to me how i still have a fan that works great that belonged to my grand parents, but I cant seem to find a fan that last more than a few years any longer?

Great nostalgic style!
As a hobby, I used to restore antique fans. This one combines vintage style with modern function. Could only be better if brass blades and hardware were used like the originals.
