Works Great
Works great checked it's readings to a fully calibrated gauge and it was right on.

Helped me detail better
This helped me determine which areas of my car were high with clear coat and others that had less than the door jambs did! So I was able to do a good compound on areas with etching and excess clear, while being gentle on the regions without much. All in all the car came out well.

Works well easily calibrated
I have only used this on one car so far. It showed areas where finish varied in thickness which was what I had anticipated. The calibration process was quick and easy with the supplied plates and clear calibration samples.

Very accurate!
Love it ! Just as accurate as my $500 paint gauge and I like this one more . Lol I'd recommend to anyone who really needs accurate consistent paint gauge readings on vehicles.

Quite Accurate
Like the angle on the tool as it makes it easy to read. After calibrating, the measurement was within 2% when I tested other calibration plates. Only thing I would like is for it to reset with the settings I last used.

Very neat tool for auto industry or mom/pop shop
This tool is very useful for big and small auto industry. Body shops can use this tool to find shotty work and panels made with bondo and not real metal. Other bigger industries like paint and body can use this tool to make sure the body thickness is uniform where it needs to be with paint or not.
