All things were as advertised, easy install.

The lids on all the clear casings have damaged fins that hold the filter in place. Looks like the machine was misaligned and bent the plastic back on all the thins that are designed to hold the filter. I ordered a big blue non-see-through case from the same company and it came without any problems with the plastic under the lid. By ordered three clear plastic bins and all three have bent plastic thins on the bottom of the lid. I’m not sure if the seller is aware of this, but they have a manufacturing problem and I will be returning all three of these and looking for a different company.UpdatingChanging review from two star to five star. The product is high-quality. I just got unlucky and had several defective lids sent to me. Worked with the seller. The seller is great understanding help me solve the problem. I would recommend the seller and the product as long as there’s no defect.

We have alot of calcium in our water. We installed a water softener and wanted to go the extra mile and include a filter. This is the one. I like that it is clear so I can see when I have to change it.

Easy to install but be careful when removing the filter.

I like that I can see how dirty my water filter is getting and know when it needs to be changed instead of taking it all apart prematurely.

Easy to install Working well.

I purchased 3 of these for a catchment tank purification front end. The system uses a high end smart pressure pump with a built in diaphragm to stabilize the pressure After installation, (November 2023) the system appeared rock steady, no leaks. These filter assemblies appeared to have high quality flow heads with brass inserts and nice clear housings and I expected no issues with them. Maximum static pressure was 46PSI measured by before and after pressure gauges. Between 27 or 28 of December one of the housings burst - the bottom literally blew out. The system again, was 46PSI (static). The smart pump ran for a length of time and automatically shut off but it goes through an automatic restart and did so until it detected no water in the tank. 7000 gallons of water was emptied through the broken filter housing. There are no words to describe losing 7000 gallons of catchment water and the likely-hood of a small defect in the clear plastic housing was not impossible.Ok, so the broken housing was removed from the setup and remaining filter housings were left to continue on until the broken one could be exchanged through Amazon. 2 Jan 024. a second one failed under exactly the same conditions. At 46PSI the bottom of the clear housing blew out, only this time it was detected and a minimal amount of water was lost.Face-plant...The blown filter housing assembly plus the remaining unit were taken out of service as this was too much...and the possibility of 3rd time unlucky remained.Returned all three MewMore housings to Amazon and I DO NOT recommend this makers' product for any unattended filtration system.Previously, I used another brand with a similar construction (clear housings that were actually cheaper) for a similar system and have had no issues (after 3 years). That system runs at 50PSI.
