I gave this set to my four-year-old niece. It immediately inspired an imagination game and prompted a certain amount of looking through the catalog for "friends" for her new doll and pet. The shoes will be lost within the week, and I am not sure a four-year-old has the dexterity for the tiny clothes, but for a slightly older child, I'd say this is a really great item. Price is great for a birthday gift.I am an adult doll collector and have several Pullip, Blythe and other "big-headed" dolls, so I was interested in the quality and design of this toy for reasons beyond it looking cool for my niece.The Blythe doll is surprisingly well-made for such an inexpensive price. Her little shoes come off, the dress has a velcro back and can also be removed. The headband is super-cute and fits well. The doll is only articulated at the neck (swivel neck), shoulders and hips, but she has a very expressive face and so even her limited movement can create some very endearing poses. She is as much fun as a mini Pullip doll, which would cost $30 minimum.So..I'd recommend this set to anyone with a 4+-year-old kid in their lives, or even for an adult or teen collector who is watching a budget and wants a new mini doll.

Very cute doll ordered for a Christmas present from "Santa" for my daughter. She currently has another littlest Pet Shop Blythe doll set called "Littlest Pet Shop Blythe Black White Collection Exclusive Flowers 'n Fashion ". She LOVES that one, so she really wanted that little cute doll to have a best friend! This doll too is dressed nicely in a black and white combo, LOVE her dress and her accessories and her cute cat. I am taking off one star though because her accessories (hairband and SHOES in particular kept falling off!) Finally we had to put a drop of superglue in each shoe so they would NOT fall off her feet. The shoes are adorable little black pumps but this was a problem. The doll is a cutie-pie with silky straight blond hair, hazel eyes and a slight tan. Great for tiny fashionistas and just anyone who loves these dolls and wants to have fun!

I haven't a clue where the measurements in the description came from! After recently finding the brand of doll, I was still afraid to buy the doll because of the description. We needed a doll to integrate into our Calico Critter items (dd doesn't like the animal play because they aren't people) and we couldn't have a doll taller than 4.5" or she wouldn't fit in the house. Huge sigh of relief when this lovely lady arrived. I have many pictures I wish I could post! She is lovely and fits into the furniture perfectly! As stated, she doesn't stand on her own and she is very top heavy, but who cares! She has a stand we hold her during the hours of play she's received since her arrival. We tried to keep her headband intacts, but an annoying brother had that removed in the first hour :( her shoes won't stay on either, but we really love her regardless! Thank you for having this toy! I know they are discontinued and very hard to find! (we do not understand why the company would stop making these lovely dolls!)
