So you know product cost to manufacture is low when they can put this in a relatively lovely container…it did make me wonder what else I didn’t know.However, this is the 4th Matcha on Amazon I have tried, and I thought the flavor was fantastic.Balanced. Smooth.I’ve read that matcha from China can have lead in it, for this reason I don’t know that I would buy it again.

Myself and my husband drink matcha every day for over a year now. After trial and errors we found a brand that works for us but it was out of stock… so i ended up buying this one instead. There was a deal so I bought 2… at first we thought it was not working (not waking us up the same way) but after 1 month of using I confirm it does the trick. It is not bitter (good). I ll buy again.

It’s the first matcha powder I’ve ever tried, so I can’t compare it to other brands. It’s more expensive than what I can buy at Walmart, but they weren’t stocked. It was easier to order online. I suggest using one tsp in a little hot water in glass. I mix it with a little milk frothed I bought from Amazon that I love. Then I fill about 2/3 with almond milk and liquid vanilla sugar free syrup and frith again. Add ice and enjoy.

Great tea with a nice reusable tin. The price is excellent when compared to similar products. I am not a green tea expert but have been drinking it every morning for sometime and this has a nice smooth flavor. As good as the much more expensive teas I have bought in the past.

What a difference between culinary and ceremonial! This is a brighter green and frothy great! Mixes well, tastes smoother.

Quality ceremonial Matcha. Breath deep Emerald green and tastes delicious. Your body will be able to tell how good this is for it.

This is 100% ceremonial grade matcha, and it’s of Chinese origin. I realize matcha from Japan is considered the gold standard, but this particular brand is still of quality and delivers in terms of what you would expect from matcha.To start, it comes well-sealed and is double packaged, so the powder doesn’t spill everywhere when you open the first bag (much appreciated). In total, there is about 1 ounce of product, and per the company, it contains up to 30 servings. However, this will vary based on individual preferences, given that one may use more than the recommended 1/2 teaspoon for a stronger matcha taste.The color of the actual powder is a vibrant green, and it has a very fine and smooth texture. As for the taste, it’s earthy and is slightly more bitter than some other matcha powders I’ve tried. However, I still consider it to be on the milder side for matcha, so it’s enjoyable to drink.Overall, I’ve enjoyed trying this out! I use this strictly for making matcha lattes or for drinking by itself with hot water. This isn’t something I would ever use for baking since it’s ceremonial grade and culinary grades already exist specifically for that purpose. At the end of day, this matcha is comparable both in price and quality, to other brands of matcha on the market today. Given my experience has been positive thus far, I would consider repurchasing it in the future.

This is from China and doesn't compare to the actual "ceremonial" grade matcha from Japan or Korea.They need to mark this as a "culinary" grade since it's chalky, not as green and doesn't have the "premium" taste.
