This little fan has served its purpose for a couple years now. That it is still so quiet and cooling is what prompted me to write this review. Even on the highest setting, the fan is so quiet compared to any others I’ve ever encountered, throughout the night it doesn’t even disturb this light sleeper.

I’ve had this thing for just about 4 months now.I bought this for the purpose of using it 24/7, all summer long. And I’ve done exactly that.It’s fairly quiet, I have it on every time I sleep since it’s basically white noise. My room used to get really stuffy, but since using this fan I’ve had no issue with that.The remote is super convenient for me since I’ve placed this fan on top of my bed backboard bookcase thing. So whenever I’m at my desk and I get warm, I have the remote so I don’t need to walk and reach buttons I can’t see (since my fan is so high up.

I ordered this fan to replace my current bedtime fan which recently began to make loud noises rendering it useless at bedtime.Despite being packaged in an obnoxiously large box for shipment, my fan arrived quickly and in perfect condition.Out of the box I noticed this fan was a good amount heavier than my previous fan, likely because of the added feature of oscillation. The fan was a clean white with grey accents and was still compact in size despite being larger than comparable 7" blade fans, again because of the oscillation feature.Use: The first night using this fan I was very happy. The audible noise from the fan is consistent and quiet, giving me the white noise that I was seeking. The three different fan speeds are great for adjusting the strength of the fan. In all there are 8 notches on the dial that adjusts the fan. The "off" selections are located on the dial at 12 and 6. To the right side (between 12 and 6) the fan offers Low, Medium and High speeds without oscillation. To the left side of the dial (between 6 and 12) the fan offers Low, Medium and High speeds WITH oscillation. There is no remote included or remote options. The dial is slightly difficult to reach as it is on the base of the fan, below the blades and oscillation bar.Summary: I gave this fan 5 stars. The price was affordable and the quality was excellent. The fan has a smooth and steady white noise sound and provides decent power for cooling while oscillating and while sitting still. I highly recommend this fan, especially for sleeping.

What a feeling - never had a fan that got me so cold. Love the remote, love the swivel. Quiet, powerful. I'm happy with this purchase. Like all electronics these days you need to cover up the green light at times. Or it's a good nightlight.

I've had this fan for almost four months now. It has been on at least 90% of that time. It's still functioning like the day I got it.I live in a little studio. Even when it's not too hot, it's still stuffy. Having air circulation helps. Now that summer is in full swing it helps a lot more.I had an expensive Lasko pedestal fan which I got from Costco. It moved air for sure. I could tolerate that it took up a lot of space in my little studio. But what bothered me the most is that it was so noisy. Even on the lowest setting I could not sleep because of the noise. I felt like I had a jet engine in my room. With that fan I had to choose if I wanted to be grouchy from the noise or grouchy from the heat.I'm glad I decided to try this little WOOZOO fan. Compared to that noisy Lasko, this little fan's lowest setting is very quiet. It's not completely silent, but it is quiet enough that I sometimes forget that it's on. My Corsair QL computer fans make more noise than the WOOZOO fan does. I shut the computer off when I go to sleep, but I sleep very soundly with the WOOZOO still going.There is only one thing I would change about this fan. I like to have Google Home control my devices (air conditioner, heater, lights, etc). I got a smart plug hoping I could have this fan be controlled by it. That didn't work out. Once the power gets cut from the fan there is no way to have the smart plug turn it back on. The only thing that turns this fan back on is the remote, or your finger pushing the button. So if I could change one thing it would be to have an old fashioned on/off switch that could be left on, allowing a smart plug to turn it on by sending electricity to it. Despite this small thing, I'm quite pleased with my purchase. I like this little fan.

This is a little, powerful, very convenient fan.I placed it on top of a cabinet pointing to the smoke detector which is very sensitive. So when the smoke detector goes on I just grab the remote and that does it!

gets a bit louder as settings go up. I like quiet when I sleep and can sleep on 2nd setting, I haven't use the 3rd setting. Circulation is great keeps me cool all night.Update 8/2021: fan is still quiet on 1st setting, 2nd setting has gotten louder and makes it hard to sleep oscillating is quiet on all settings. The 3d setting is loud.This fan is for circulating air so it does not feel like much air is moving when it is pointed directly at you and that is normal. You will feel more air on you at setting 2 and 3 but it gets loud and I can't sleep.I have the IRIS USA WOOZOO HD18NU Air Circulator, Compact Personal Office for Home Desktop Fan, 11.5 inch fan, White and it is very quiet on all speeds 1-3 but it does not oscillate or have a remote with timer which is what I need or want so I can set the timer to shut off while I'm sleeping.

I set mine up kinda high on top of my armoire and it looks and does an awesome job. I love the small size, the amount of air it puts out, and for a fan this size you'll love that it has a remote so you don't have to be getting up and down to change the speeds whenever you want. The small dinky remote however takes a little getting use to. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy another for any of the other rooms. Also the quietness is unbelievable. You can sleep right through the small amount of noise it makes. Anyone contemplating the purchase, don't hesitate, you won't be sorry, I promise

It’s a very nice fan, it’s very quiet from other I have used. I keep it on the lowest setting to circulate air and I sometimes forget it’s even on. I am considering getting another.

I need a fan for air circulation and background noise when I sleep. This fan is perfect. The hum is not overpowering. Air circulation is great and I like the oscillation as well. Very effective fan for a small space.

This fan is very space-efficient. It comes with three different fan speeds. Speed I is extremely quiet, and you can feel a gentle breeze with a two-meter radius and suitable for nighttime use. Speed II has a slight motor noise that falls within an acceptable range. Speed III provides noticeable breeze within a three-meter range. The white model fan is very stylish. I will definitely repurchase.

I bought this fan because I saw the good reviews( and because of the scorching heat) and I wasn't disappointed. This fan is really powerful, I was expecting to always use the third option to deliver maximum power but it's not always the case as the other two options do the job well enough most of the time. If you use it in the living room though it might not be as effective as it is in a bedroom depending on the size of the room. If you look at the price and the quality, I don't think you will find a better deal easily. I would also add that if you're looking for a silent fan you use to ease yourself to sleep, you will like it even more!
