These are a set of Knee, Elbow & Wrist Guards, with a design like many others out there.They have good breathable padding, and a plastic shell to absorb the harder knocks.I think they will protect against the worst consequences of various rough & tumbles or falls.Two issues...1. The Amazon page states this is suitable for ages 2 - 8. My child is almost 4, not small for his age, and all three items are too large for him, particularly the wrist guards. In fact the elbow pads used on the knees were a much more suitable size. I would dispute that any 2 year and probably 3 year old would comfortably fit these. Anyway, he will grow into them.2. Secondly, the velcro (hook & loop fastners) for the knee & elbow pads are the wrong way round... There is a spiky bit and a fluffy bit, and for comfort the spiky bit should be facing away from the skin (to avoid scratching and irritation) and the fluffy bit should be pointing towards the skin. The wrist guard got the order right !! To be fair, many other devices on the market make the same mistake, so this brand is hardly unique.Anyway, I am happy (mostly) with the design & function, and my child will hopefully grow into these within the next year or two.

I’m not sure how you can ever give these five stars for comfort as they are naturally designed to be hard and offer protection from falls, scuffs and scrapes.My daughter is a small 4 year old and they fit ‘ok’ but I would say that she has years of use in them so not too bad, a 4 or 5 year old of normal size would fit fine.We got these to go with skateboarding, but could be roller skating or learning to ride a bike.

It will make a good first set of protectors for our son who we’re planning on getting a very first little balance bike soon.The plastic protection is strong to withstand a fall and not break while the inside provides enough cushioning to not hurt themselves with the protector itself!The straps are long enough for a number of years from what I can see but the velcro is limited so while it would still fit your child well, there is nothing to fasten the strap to (it fits me fine but can do it up for example). So keep that in mind.The straps could be softer but I don’t think it should be a demand at £11.99.As the weather is on the decline we’ll be using it with him over long sleeve tops and long bottoms so it won’t make much difference at least to begin with.Overall seems like a decent set at a reasonable price to start your child with some sport activities!

Perfect for protecting kids whilst using roller skates, bikes, scooters etc. Great price for the quality of the product. Suitable from 2 to 8 years the fastenings allow the protectors to expand with your Childs growth. Lightweight and soft cushioning on the inside of the pads for comfort. Bought for our 2.5 year old, the velcro fastenings are slightly on the larger side (especially for the elbow protectors) but it will not be too long before she grows into them.
