Love these! Two year old and four year-old grandkids stay engaged and show their creativeness in building structures.

These are so much fun! I played with them with my son for hours yesterday. The magnetic tiles work with other standard-sized magnetic tile sets and the dinos really enhance the play possibilities. They have small magnets in their feet, so they do stick to the tiles to some extent (they can't hang like bats, but they can handle some angles that they would not be able to do absent the magnets).I would have ordered this set sooner, as my son loves both magnetic tiles and dinos, but I was worried about what I thought were small parts (the dino pieces) held together with magnets. My worries were unfounded, because the dino parts snap into place without the use of magnets. The only magnets in the dinos are the very small magnets in their feet.The dino heads and legs make a satisfying clicking noise when adjusted. Since they are clear, one can look inside and see how the clicking noise is made, which is fun and in line with the STEAM concept.The play set comes with a booklet containing many project ideas, all of which can actually be built using the pieces provided (one would think that this would be a given, but I own many magnetic tile play sets and I can assure you that this is not a given).I took away one star for "giftability" because the set that I received was shipped in its direct product packaging. It was just the actual box that one would find on a toy store shelf with the address and mailing stickers stuck directly on to the clear plastic surrounding the cardboard of the box.So, if you are buying this as a gift (and you probably are, as the target age group does not have purchasing power), spring for the gift wrap option (if there is one) or at least the option for the package to come in Amazon packaging (again, if there is such an option).At least all of the address and mailing stickers come off when one removes the plastic to get at the cardboard box that contains the toy (not always the case - I have, as of late, been receiving items with address and mailing stickers so well adhered to the product box that they cannot be removed without damaging the box that one would hope to keep). To be clear, no such problem with this one. The stickers come right off when one removes the clear plastic.

The dinosaurs are super cute and so are the printed pieces but you are very limited as to what you can build and do with this set because its so small. The $40 price tag makes me cringe for what you get - thankfully it works with a different brand set we have (measure your pieces). The dino's themselves will work with any set, they just have little magnets in their feet and the feet move so you can adjust to fit the placement in other sets.

The kids at our preschool love playing with these magnetic blocks! We have several sets of different brands and I love that they are interchangeable. Our toddlers ages 2 - 3 love learning how to build with these. They need a little help to get started on the corners of houses, but they enjoy building homes for their little plastic animals and dolls. And then they love knocking them down, of course! The blocks are sturdy and they haven't cracked or been damaged in any way even though they are used all of the time. The magnetic attachments are strong and stable. You can build up several stories and are more limited by your height than the stability of the blocks.This set comes with 49 pieces so you do need additional sets to build something large. Older kids especially will need multiple sets to build large castles and forts. Little kids can build smaller homes pretty easily, but I find they also enjoy building flat pictures with the blocks. They will make pretty shapes like flowers or triangles or match colors with the blocks laying flat on the tabletop. I love that this set comes with dinosaur blocks and some people so that you can build houses and zoos with them. The kids love adding these to their creations.I love that these blocks encourage creative play and that there are so many ways to use them. These are definitely a toy set you will want to add to your collection. They also make a great gift and you can gift different sets throughout the years or to different children in the same family so they can share them together.

This set doesn't just include different tile shapes. It also includes several different dinosaurs that are built out of tiles, as well. The pieces are interchangeable. My son switched all the features and limbs of all the dinosaurs, and created his own version of each dino. Lol. He did a really good job with it, too. I like magnetic tiles, because they have endless possible creations. My son and I have had a lot of fun with the dinosaurs that are now a part of those endless possibilities. This is a wonderful set that lets kids decide what their favorite dinosaur would have really looked like. What a great opportunity!

My kids LOVE magnet tiles, and these were perfect for my 5 year old son who is really into dinosaurs right now. I had to help him put the dinos together the first few times, but after that he could do it all on his own! these would make a great gift for ages 3-8!

My three kids (4, 6 and 8 yo) love this set. The dinos are super cute and really easy to put together. This set is able to be used with our existing magnetic tiles which really extends playtime. Our favorite part is that the feet and heads on the dinos actually move. We've been having a lot of fun with them. Two thumbs up!

These work great with Picasso and Magnetiles. Our sons love dinosaurs and really love the make-believe they can do with this set. Some of the magnets in the dinosaurs are very small so I don't recommend these for children who are still putting everything in their mouths but at 5 & 6, our boys love them!
