Probably not for the age indicated
The media could not be loaded. It wasn't damaged in any way, and overall, it's a cute toy. However, there are a couple of things that should be adjusted:1. The picture used to advertise the product. They photoshopped the picture of the cactus and the baby to make it look like the cactus is much, much bigger than it really is. I'm used to these types of things when shopping on Amazon, so I knew to look at the measurements rather than the photo. It's really only about a foot tall. The picture makes it look huge, though. For comparison, if the cactus really was as tall as the picture indicates, that toddler would be about the size of an almost full grown rat. Clearly the product is much smaller than the picture indicates.2. It does have practically a never-ending play list of songs (I still haven't made it through all of them), but they are not the type of songs you would expect a babies toy to sing. I was expecting lots of nursery rhymes and laughable childrens' songs, not techno, rap, and dance. "Happy Birthday" is the closest song to a toddler's song I have heard so far (and I have heard a lot). In fact, that song seems like it's the oddball one that doesn't belong because the rest are techno, rap, and dance. How is this for babies? The record and repeat options are fun. You hold the record button down, say what you're going to say when it beeps, and then release the button. Push the button again and it will play back what you recorded. For the repeat, you don't push anything. Just talk a little loudly, and it will repeat it using a funny high voice. This toy does NOT come with instructions (which seems to be happening a lot). The three stickers that show you where the record, volume, and music start/stop buttons are are simple stickers. You can feel with your thumb where the buttons are if ever the stickers come off, but it's still kind of a bummer. It also takes three double A batteries that are not included.Other than the faults I mentioned, it is a likeable toy. It's just not being advertised with accurate pictures nor for the correct audience. I wouldn't buy this for a baby because of the songs chosen and because the fabric used for the cactus will rip too easily. I would buy it for any school age child and up, but not for babies.

Fun for kids
Really cute toy for kids and babies. My son loves the playback feature and will have conversations with it for long stretches of time. The songs are somewhat annoying but at least there are a lot of them so it doesn’t get too repetitive like other kids toys can.Overall it seems like really good quality and a great price for how much entertainment it offers

Precious and fun
What a great idea. The little wee ones are enthralled with it and the toddlers use it to be little comedians. All the family is enjoying this cute toy.

Unexpectedly funny
The media could not be loaded. This guy was completely not what I expected. First of all, I thought that "fair music" would be like ice cream truck music - pop goes the weasel, the wheels on the bus. Not at all the case. The first song it plays is happy birthday. After that, there are something like 30 pop songs. It's more like a mini rave than the ice cream truck music drinking into your head. I recognized a few of these songs (I'm not much into that style of music) and someone who is up in their music would probably enjoy this more. The second, and more unexpected part was that it has voice recognition/ play back. We didn't know that it had this feature, and when it started repeating my kids laughter between songs we were a little freaked out at first... and then we all cracked up. We spent the next half hour talking to it and watching/ listening to it repeat back to us in a funny voice and laughing our heads off. It also has a record function where you can record a message and replay it by pressing the button.I wouldn't put this in a baby's reach as I think they would probably break it, but they would probably be entertained watching it. I also think it could be entertaining stress relief in your desk at work, or a wonderful white elephant gag gift. Finally, it takes 3 AA batteries, which are not included.

My son loves it!
This is my 1 year old’s favorite toy. He loves dancing to all the songs. I wish there was a marking for the buttons though. The sticker just fell right off so I drew on it with a permanent marker.

Fun!!
This is a interactive type cactus the only thing I’d there’s numbers and letters to push to make it do certain things my kiddo ripped all those off so it’s a guess where to push to make the cactus do anything anymore
