Heavy Duty Extra Large Dog Crate with Wheels - Indestructible 38/42/46 Inch Chew-Proof, Escape-Proof Kennel for High-Anxiety and Extra Large Dogs

The box is heavy as ... yea, BUT once you open it the set up is as simplete as 6 screws. I've had the 42" crates for both my dogs: standard Australian shepherd and a boxer for about a month and a half. Both my dogs are still puppies (9 months and 10 months) so there's still room to grow in. Only thing I'd recommend: if you have a puppy that's a chewer or still undergoing potty training, I'd recommend also buying a large metal tray verses the 2 plastic trays it comes with. My boxer will have the occasional accident and the trays don't stay put as you move from one side to the other, so very often the mess goes perfectly in the middle and with all the layers of the wire top, the thick metal shell, it's annoying to clean. But a simple fix. Also it being plastic, he has chewed the outer rim. No cracks, but tons of bending and little teeth holes. Easy fix is buying 1 big metal tray verses 2 medium plastic trays. Also the wheels lock in well and the crate also moves easily in the event any accidents manage to slip through it all onto the floor.

I went for this crate mainly because of how sturdy the bars are. My little furball tends to go all out trying to gnaw her way through flimsier crates, leaving her with a sore nose and mouth. But with this one, she doesn't even try. It's like her safe haven. Putting it together was a piece of cake, and it glides around like a dream. I set it up with a waterproof bed, food and water bowls, and even a patch of fake grass, turning it into her own little kingdom... although she might still think of it as a bit of a jail cell, haha!

I purchased this crate for my extremely anxious dog who has gone through three crates already due to her anxiety and chewing her way out. This crate is advertised as indestructible and heavy duty, but the latch system is terrible. You’re only as strong as your weakest link and the latch system is definitely the weakest link, my dog was able to get out less than an hour. I have Returned this crate and definitely do not recommend it if you have a dog who can escape easily because this crate is easy to escape.

After my dog trashed both doors on his regular wire crate, I needed a safe and secure alternative. This one’s perfect. No more escaping while I'm at work, and I don't have to stress out anymore. This crate is exactly as described, but even STRONGER! I would call it 'Alcatraz'. I don't love locking him up when I leave, but my pup is only 8 months old and super destructive when unsupervised. Not anymore. Highly recommend!

The item is very well made and very nice. But the shipping people who delivered it dropped it in my driveway then left at garage door. When I opened it was dented very visual. But I tried putting together cuz I needed for an outing. Could not complete set up so I had my husband wire the pieces together so I could use. I started a return but by the time I take it apart and repackage- not worth it. So my suggestion to you is if the package is ripped or open don't bother with it just return it. Other than the shipping wonderful cage

I wish I had found this years ago. My dog loves it. It was easy to assemble and opening and closing the latches is easy enough for my 5 year old to do. The last kennel I had for my dog (40# husky mix) was destroyed by his energetic bouncing and he was able to open the latches rendering it useless. It is larger than I had anticipated but I love the size. Moving the box around was a chore as it is heavy but once it was assembled, it rolled right into place easily. The wheel locks work perfectly. I don’t know what more I can say other than I don’t see my dog terrorizing this one to pieces, so A+ in my book. Again, he loves to crawl inside and I feel like it offers him more comfort and security than the traditional collapsible metal kennels. Don’t hesitate, just buy it. You won’t regret it.

I got this kennel for my 2-year- Husky that I adopted from a rescue. Initially, I used a collapsible wire kennel with a plastic tray at the bottom. He destroyed the plastic tray, and once it was out, he figured out how to move the kennel around. We even had to zip-tie the walls together because he could break through them.Determined to find a more durable and secure option, I ordered this heavy-duty kennel, and it has been a lifesaver! I no longer worry about what I’ll come home to when I leave him in it. There is no tray at the bottom for him to destroy, as the trays are positioned below the floor.Assembling it is best done with two people, but my 12-year-old son and I managed it just fine. It’s not difficult; it just requires some teamwork.4o

This was easy to put together.Tray came cracked on the corner.One Bolt hole was put on the wrong side . In picture 1 that should have been on the inside to screw the side to the back.I have to drill a hole and bolt it together myself. I haven't used it yet so I'll update when my little monster is in there.

Fast delivry and look very sturdy, main issue is the floor are only small iron bars but any custom made floor would work, a wood plank with some iron sheet on it or anything, the package was in perfect condition everything assembled well and nothing was broken on arrival

Parts were bent and not attached properly.
