I recently purchased my first singing bowl. Instead of buying a whole set, I opted to start with just one to see if it's something I can play. It took a few tries to get the sound right, but once I got the hang of it, it produced the most impressive, resonant tone!

The media could not be loaded. This singing bowl is very calming for me. I can tell it was handmade and the picture wasn't exactly what I expected, but it is still beautiful. Mine was tuned at a B. Very beautiful sound. It wasn't hard to get it to sing either. I highly recommend!

This Silent Mind singing bowl arrived securely wrapped, with a scan sticker on top to register the purchase of the product. Scanning gives you a link to welcome videos regarding the bowl and instructions on how to play it. The bowl itself is beautifully made, and the "Bliss" pattern is skillfully etched into both inside and outside. The matte black and shiny gold surface is elegant. The wooden mallet, matching black and gold scrolled pillow and zippered storage box are also well-crafted. The 4 inch bowl may look small, but the lovely tone it emits is clear and surprisingly strong. I was easily able to make the bowl "sing" on my first try, and the soothing tone is relaxing. I highly recommend the Silent Mind brand if you are considering buying a singing bowl.

Nice singing bowl, it's a little smaller than I expected and I wish the Tibetan script was crisper, but I'm glad it's not made in China and it's a good value, especially with the case as these bowls usually come with just a cushion and striker. Doesn't seem etched to me, more like a lacquer or patina. Also would be better if it was made by Tibetans (wherever in the diaspora) rather than Nepalis.

First impression was the quality, how nice it looks, and how perfect the size is. I love the tune of the vibrations it sings. It's actually very useful in grounding, meditating, and getting back to your frequency. I love this thing.

Arrived very quickly, perfectly wrapped. The pillow is really cute. The box is nice and sturdy and perfect for travelling. The bowl fits well in the palm of my hand. The mallet has leather wrapped on one side as on the pictures. It sings well. The pitch is lower than I expected, but the bowl responds very well. Mine is blue with gold mantra.
