ok, the printer, struggled a little bit at the beginning but once you got the idea you can transfer very easily, the machine feels quality-made, it's a little big to be carrying it around compared to other options, but definitely very doable.

This copy transfer paper printer works very good , perfect size and printed to the transfer sheet my tattoo art with great quality. This machine doesn't take up to much room and us very easy to use . Just place the transfer paper in and remove the blank sheet and insert the drawing you wish to copy and print to transfer paper. Very fast and flawless . No problems feeding the paper . This was designed very good and is worth the money .

This isn’t by any means a modern or fancy option for transfer printing. This is a pro in some ways as you don’t need fancy apps on your phone etc that may be hard to use or fail. It doesn’t hook up to anything at all. This also can be a con as you really and truly need to have a nice hood edit first on stuff. I struggled a few times with some images just printing in ways that wouldn’t help me once transferred to the skin. There were areas that were too thick and dark etc. all that said, we are beginners here so this is really nice for us. We can make the tweaks before we print the image we want to use. It definitely does do the jobs it’s asked to do and is a good option for someone just wanting to start out and practice stuff imo. My biggest complaint is this entire thing stinks right out of the box. It has this overwhelming electrical smell and it’s rather off putting. I have not read other reviews to see if they have the same issue but it almost scares me something isn’t right electrical wise in it? That said we have used it five or six times and left it on to test it for a considerable time period and had no issues. The smell is slowly going away but isn’t fully gone.

This thermal printer works great for transferring images that are crisp with clean lines. It makes quick work of copying an image onto transfer paper, but the real work must be done in advance on a computer using photo edit or vector software. While this will transfer photos directly, it leaves large blotches of ink in darker shades areas. I would recommend digitally altering photos into line drawings prior to using the copier. This machine will not connect directly to a computer, and there's no wireless or Bluetooth connection, so you must print a copy of the image prior to transferring it.The printer feeds smoothly and creates clean images. The pictorial instructions are helpful. The printer has a mirror, photo and two depth settings. I like that this also comes with twenty sheets of transfer paper. It is easy to find refills online. The particular paper that comes with the machine leaves a light image that is perfect for tracing. The ink comes off skin fairly easily using just soap and water.This machine would make life easier for tattoo artists, but I will use it mainly to create transfers for wood burning and carvings. This is a great tool that saves time and creates precise images compared to tracing by hand.

Easy to use just make sure you keep it on “mirrored” so image shows up facing the right direction. If you end up getting some bleeding on the stencil use a piece of tape and lightly dab over the bleed and it will come right off. The stencil sheets are easy to replace I recommend spirit.

Upfront, and to keep it simple, I would say this is a great copier for someone who is just getting started out with tattooing. Or if you need to copy other thermal based papers. However I don't think that this particular model would hold up to the rigors of a professional shop, or someone working out of a home studio. It is super portable, given that it's lightweight, but is still a bit bulky. There are better options if you are and on the go tattooist. But this is serviceable if it's within your price range, and some of the other thermal-based portable printers and copiers aren't. It leaves a good solid line, not a lot of bleeding outside of the lines. It is directly connected to how dark the image you are trying to copy is, so make sure you get as dark as possible for your initial drawing. Otherwise, it's a pretty solid product.

It transfers the stencil nice and clean. It’s easy to set up. I didn’t have any paper jams with it. Really cuts down the time tediously hand drawing stencils.

I got this for my budding tat artist, son of mine. He's still only practicing on fake skin, but he draws his own flash. He says that if your lines are really clean, this works like a charm, but he did say that if your lines are thick or contain any detail beyond a clean line, the transfer will have a hard time rendering it. Because he says that it teaches him to be more in-tuned to his artwork, because all mistakes will be noticeable. He likes the machine but he knows that it is good for starting out, but not quite like a pro model you would find in a shop! All all a good starter product!
