I take 2 of these every morning and have been for a long time. It is nice to have them delivered to my home since I am older and do not shop in stores much anymore.

I have been using Sundown 1200 mg Calcium plus vitamin D for years. I usually waited until my local pharmacy had a buy one get one free deal. This time I was running out and couldn't get to the pharmacy. So I went on Amazon to check things out. I knew that I still wanted to get Sundown Calcium. They have a 2 bottle package for a very good price. The product itself is wonderful. When I first saw how big the capsule was I thought I would never be able to swallow one let alone two. I was quite surprised to discover that they are easy to swallow. I guess being a liquid cap that there is some give to the outside and they slide down easily (one at a time). I figure that I company that makes a capsule so easy to swallow must make a great product.

I changed my mind (from a negative review because of the size). Still having this in my cabinet, I was told to try to take these pills with hot coffee. So while eating breakfast, I took one at a time, swallowing it with a big gulp of hot coffee, then followed by another gulp. AND IT WORKED. I did not have any problem swallowing the pills. The hot liquid relaxes the throat muscles allowing the esophagus to swallow the large pills. I gave it a five star this time from a two. I do recommend this product for anyone over 50 to strengthen your bones against osteoporosis. Especially for those who are 'Runners' or 'Joggers'Best of health to everyone ... try Mega Red for your fish oil supplement "very good" also CoQ10 .... start a healthy heart now...

I choose to supplement my diet with calcium because I sleep better when I supplement with calcium and magnesium. There is a considerable amount of research that the vitamin D3 is helpful for good health.I gave Sundown a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star simply because magnesium is not included in this supplement. Magnesium assists the body in utilizing the calcium and I have found it necessary to supplement with both Ca and Mg in order to improve my sleep.I inherently resist taking pills or capsules so I take them infrequently, but every little bit helps. I choose the liquid-filled softgels because they are more pleasant to swallow. I have no problem swallowing the softgels which are soft and smooth even though they are large. I suspect a softgel is easier to digest than a hard solid tablet. I prefer taking one large capsule to taking multiple smaller capsules. Since they are soft, one could chew them or blend them into food or a drink.A great amount of research has been done with vitamin D and vitamin D3 is preferred by the many researchers I reviewed. There are many benefits to maintaining adequate levels of vitamin D in the body. One of the advantages of maintaining healthy levels of vitamin D in our bodies is to stave off depression which seems to be almost epidemic in society.I had a friend who couldn't tolerate even a gentle hug from a friend or a family member because it brought her too much pain: she had osteoporosis. By supplementing with calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D3 I maybe helping my heart and staving off osteoporosis and depression so I take it, albeit infrequently.Good health and wisdom to you!

Since I have an allergy to all cows milk products, this was next best. Have tried many other brands, but this works best for me. A local store quite carrying it , so was happy to find on your website.
