Probably not worth the price, will most likely go back to a stainless steel one. It isn't as silent as the last one we had and we noticed a film forming in the bowl after only a few days, so we find we have to wash this one out quite often. It's a place for our cats to drink from - but it will definitely be replaced sooner vs. later.

The media could not be loaded. so, about a month ago i bought a little cat tree for my cat. it took a few hours to build and i was so proud of it. my cat has not even stepped a foot onto that tree. that brings me to this item.i ordered this because my cat absolutely loves the water fountain. whenever anyone is using the restroom, she joins and meows at you to turn the faucet on until you turn it on for her and then she’s content. i figured why not give her access to something like that all the time, or a majority of the time, because we can’t leave the water running all day. as soon as i plugged in the fountain, my cat immediately ran to the fountain, and i bet she still is there drinking from the spout.the fountain took all of 8-10 minutes to put together. it only took so long because i was genuinely confused on some stuff because the instructions doesn’t exactly look like the hardware in your hands. but, nonetheless, i got it figured out. i am debating between stars personally due to a few reasons:- no box to plug in the usb wire. i had to go buy one to get it to run. if it came with its own little box, i would definitely be more in love with this product. not having one accessible was the biggest negative personally.- the instructions were a little confusing. there’s a lot of pictures that don’t match up, and they give instructions for other products. not necessarily bad, but a little hard to navigate. if there was a set of instructions specific for this fountain, i also would have bumped up my rating.-it’s quiet. you can barely hear it running, if at all. also, the blue light is a very nice touch. it would be cool if it faded in and out of colors, like a rainbow pattern or some other RGB LED system of lighting.-the packaging was done very well, and all pieces were there i believe. i had the filter, motor, hose, and 3 fountain pieces. i’ve received other packages that are just thrown together and you can’t decipher what piece is what.-my cat absolutely loves it. she has been drinking out of it non-stop and seemed genuinely curious about it when we placed it in the living room. she climbed right over and started sipping away.all in all, i think cats prefer low maintenance and low effort gifts. sometimes it only takes a little cat fountain to make one of your cats nine lives. or maybe that’s just my cat?

This item did not come with the filter piece, had WIRES exposed and had no way for the pump to connect to the spout. Horrible product. Don’t buy.

Amazing!! Cats look for the freshest, coldest, and cleanest water source to drink from. I used the same bowl for 2 years and clean it every day to two days. One of my cats stopped drinking and wanted water from a running tap, them my other cat stopped. I got this and I'm constantly filling it because they are thirsty boys.

Great product and the cat loves it however it requires a thorough cleaning every 2 weeks to avoid slime build up

easy to assemble & clean, cats love it. I like the blue light that goes red when the water is low. filters are easy to get and replace.
