The tin looks good. I have bought these as a stocking filler for my daughter. Think she’s going to like this.

Fabulous Item
A gift for some friends who were visiting us in their camper van. They absolutely loved it. They are going to put little photos of themselves where the driver and passenger sit.

A novelty tin filled with mixed success biscuits
I don't know what it is about novelty gifts such as these but they always seem very popular and I imagine this will be no different. However, given that the tin isn't a particularly good representation of anything, I can't imagine that I will keep it i.e. it doesn't really commemorate anything and it doesn't fill me with any great nostalgia of anything. Maybe if it is given as a gift for a particular occasion, I might feel a bit different.Inside the tin are two sets of biscuits; all butter shortbread and chocolate chip cookies. The shortbread was delicious however, I wasn't a fan of the cookies. They tasted a bit artificial and had a chemical aftertaste. Of course, the cookies are made with vegetable margarine rather than butter and I think that makes a huge difference (and not in a good way) to the taste of buns and biscuits. For me, this biscuit tin is a bit hit and miss. It's also pretty expensive and so I'd much rather someone just bought me the all butter shortbread from inside the tin and forgot about the rest.
