Protection.

I do not have anything in my home that I could use in case I ever need to ward off an intruder, unruly kids, or pushy salesman so I decided to order this little "thumper". It is pretty lightweight and it is about two-thirds the length of a regular baseball bat. I really hope to never have to use it but I am pretty it would be effective in inflicting damage to a hostile person and it would definitely be better than being completed unarmed. If you are like me and want to have something around the house but don't like the idea of having something more lethal or dangerous, this is a good compromise.
