Well see with time
Your feet are better to touch a natural material but anyways they aren’t that difficult to break in and are not THAT painful (maybe others have peculiarly shaped feet), also ignore whoever said these go on your second/third toe lol… Compare to other sandals these seem sturdier but we will see with daily wear

Awesome Tatami Zouri Sandals
I bought my last tatami sandals 30 years ago and they have lasted until now. I use them very frequently. This ones look like my tatami's when they where new.

have to break in the foot straps.
So I got the largest size, they don't fit very well and my foot seems crooked in them. The strap is a bit hard on the toes as well. Going to try and break them in over the next two weeks and do a follow-up assessment. Not sure if they should be priced as is.

Cool aesthetic but practically falls short
If you are looking for something to have as a moderately comfortable and aesthetic piece to your wardrobe, these are great. However, even after wearing them in the design caused my foot to shoot out to the side a bit, and the size is a bit clunky. This could be by design, but I needed something a little different for my preferences. Due to their size, they also aren't the easiest thing to move around or transport, but if someone is looking for a stylized spa slipper or housewear then these might be for them.

Get used to them
A nice product. I personally wouldn’t get a second pair. Used for a specific occasion

Wonderful shoes.
I absolutely love these sandals and wear them in my home. They do take a little getting used to if you are not used to having something between your toes but after a while they are fine. Tabi socks help.

favorite shoe, a smaller size would be good
I got these about a month ago and have been wearing them pretty much all day every day since. I really like them. They are easy to keep clean. The soles don't really have ridges like the ones in the picture; the ones I got are smoother with some texture. Other slippers seem to collect dust and whatnot but these don't much at all. I just clap them together outside and let them sun for a while, or sometimes wipe with a dry paper towel. The only thing I would change about them is the size... dear Aiai, please consider making these same shoes in slightly smaller women's sizes, because they are really nice and the design is pretty much unisex.I got the large because the length was the same as my foot, but it would be nice if the shoe was a little smaller... as another reviewer mentioned, setta and other Japanese sandals like geta are usually meant to be worn a little smaller with the heel hanging out.The result of the extra length is just extra bulkiness when you're flip flopping around (especially since the shoe is rectangular), the weight of your heel won't actually be on the end of the shoe.
