A must-have, essential resource for every new, emerging and senior leader toolbox
Kristen has written a honest, practical and purposed-driven book. It's rich in insights and perspective. Like she says in the intro, this book is the book I wish I had earlier in my career. As a leader who is passionate about being the best leader I can be, I've had to teach myself and learn on the fly throughout my career, and I can echo, relate to and endorse so many of the tips, stories and reflections she's shared. The worksheets at the end of each chapter are perfect for going deeper and putting the book into action in your life. For me, my personal favorite and most highlighted and underlined chapters are Chapter 4 "Success Leaves Clues", Chapter 6 "Get Out of Your Own Way", Chapter 7 "Fail Forward", Chapter 9 "Daily Habits", and Chapter 10 "Empowering Your Teams." Those chapters, and many others, rang so true to my leadership development experience, and touched on areas where I've been successful and on areas where I want and need to grow. As Kristen shares her story, I strongly believe every new, emerging and seasoned leader can learn and sharpen their skills by reading and putting her book into action. She's given us a concise and resource-packed guide that inspires us all to be a better leader.

I highly recommend Kristin’s book, “Be a Better Sales Leader” to any person, at any stage in a sales or business development role. Her insights, perspective, tips, and worksheets provide valuable tools and is a practical guide for you to improve and grow your leadership skillset. Personally, I have witnessed Kristin on her journey the past several months and she has been an inspiration for me. She has taken massive action during a challenging time to turn challenges into opportunities. Kristin, has put in the work, shows her authenticate self and is able to simplify what could be a complex topic into tangible, meaningful lessons to help guide you as a sales leader. Great read!
Book discussed a lot of relevant topics such as, but not limited to, the cons of micro managing, actively listening to subordinates with empathy, consistently leading by example, maintaining a positive mindset no matter what, and a lifetime commitment to learning and growth. A new and fresh perspective on what really increases sales in the business world, this is a must read for all generations, especially baby boomers who need to learn to understand how the younger generations see the world differently, think differently, and work differently so they can incorporate all perspectives in the workplace to ensure an inclusive culture, which will lead to more sales! Five stars hands down!

Amazingly practical and easy to apply to your team
The suggestions Kristen provides are so easy to apply and make so much sense! The stories are so relatable and easy to incorporate into existing sales teams. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to be a more effective leader!

Great practical guide
This book is full of practical advice and steps to get out of your own way and start being the leader you know you are. If you feel stuck and wish you would have a road map to start this is it. Leadership at its best is the quality of relationships you get to have with your team and customers. Kristin teaches you how to leverage that in to your sales and really in all aspects of life.

Kristin brings her passion for sales and leadership to life in this book chock full of stories, leadership essential tips and helpful tools. At the end of each chapter are various worksheets for new leaders to use as they navigate the difficult job of getting results through other people. Her demonstrated success shows that she knows how to lead a team to greatness and she shares that process here!
