Great "quiet toy" for all ages.
I have purchased several of these glitter wands for a variety of purposes. We have had them in our home for over 20 years. They work well for toddlers because they can hold them easily and are fascinated by the falling colors. It's a great "quiet toy" and useful for distracting small fussy children. As children get older they like to use them as magic wands. They are durable and hold up well. I prefer the two-toned spiral wands to those that are a solid color. The colors don't mix but sort of wrap around each other. The spiral also makes it so the contents tumble a little more evenly instead of in a clump. I find it rather soothing to just tip them back and forth and watch the falling colors. The sparkle comes from the larger metallic looking pieces that come in a variety of shapes---mostly stars, hearts, moons, circles and squares with an occasional music note, apple, flower or I've even seen a penguin. I've had one of the Wonder Tubes that has small plastic discs with different pictures printed on them in it. I didn't like it as well because the discs had a habit of sticking together in the tube. We also have a 9 inch kaleidoscope that uses one of these tubes which we all enjoy. Look around for the best deal. I have purchased mine in multi-packs or when the individual price is down around $6.

My random wand was spiraled inside
Purchased this as a “talking stick” in therapy. The random wand I received was spiraled inside and the glitter and sequins take about 2-3 mins to fall from one end to the other. Gives each person a set time to share their thoughts and has helped us progress in therapy with each other.

Bright colors, sturdy, great quality.
I have one of these that was given to me as a gift years ago. I work with students in the school setting and they're always asking where I got it, so I wanted to get a few more for my office. These did not disappoint...I bought three. They are a little larger in diameter compared to my old one but I and the kids still love these. I gave one of them to my daughter (2 years old) and she loves to play with it and use it for pretend. The colors are bright and the spiral inside the tube keeps the colors separated as they slowly swirl down. I have kids who will sit in my office talking and just turning this over and over watching the sand and sparkles.

Great for making your 4 year old simmer down.
Love this! I bought this specifically for my 4 year old to focus on when she needs to calm down. I keep it up on the back of our couch and she gets to play with it when she needs to take a break and calm the F down. It works well! There are two channels in the wand, so the glitter swirls down around the wand if you hold it up right--making it look like there's a lot more going on in there than just some glitter falling through water. We got the orange and yellow one and everything in it is super bright and sparkly, which helps! I only wish you could pick the color so I could order another and not get a duplicate.I imagine this would make an awesome wand for dress up too!

The wand is used as substitute for the talking stick.
I brought two different colors for our church youth group of 6 and 7th graders. They call it the wonder wand as they can speak to issues they wonder about and others are to listen. A take off on the concept of a talking stick. But the wand has rounded ends so no potential for poking an eye. I bought two has one reviewer reported leakage after being dropped. One child did drop on the stone tile floor and there was no breakage.Satisfied so far and the young people enjoy them too as one girl commented that she needed the wonder wand to think better...

Cute but no Elderwand
My son went through a heavy Harry Potter phase and turned a drum stick into a makeshift wand. Given that wizardry often involves jumping off beds and death defying duels gains the one who shall not be named, I got paranoid he was going to injure himself so I thought this would be a little safer. It’s cute but wish the colors were less clown school and more mystical galaxy.

Great wand
As a teacher I use this as a pointer for school I think it helps keeps my kids attention. They love it when I let them use it to point to things as well.

Just as expected
This wand is pretty darn cool. It spirals down the glitter. Not sure what to use it for except for a mesmerizing gaze into the glitter but mine was exactly as expected. There’s a waitress out in Breckenridge who points to your food or menu etc. with one and I just had to do the same😂 if you ever see this waitress in Breckenridge, know is that this is the same wand she used to point at your menu.

Expensive but fun
Such a fun toy to have; my kids love watching the glitter fall and the colors swirl. Super expensive though!
