Pruven 836P-LSR-30 8-Inch by 15.0-Feet Pet Hair Large Surface Roller with Handle, 30-Sheet

I received the SCOTCH 836LSR Large Surface Roller, instead of this PRUVEN 836LSR30. They do look different, not sure the difference between them, unless the "tape" is stickier???? Whatever. I have a long haired cat, a Chihuahua-Pekingese mix who is REALLY a shedder, and a Schnauzer who is just my buddy. The cat and the Chihuahua SHED like nobodies business and I am SO tired of waking up with cat hair on my face, or trying to get it off my black shirts and jackets and velvet pants! So I guess I just have to roll with one of these! UPDATE: I figured out WHY it's different. THE PRICE!!!! It cost me $12.00 instead of the $10.00 the PRUVEN item would have cost me! WHAT??!!!!

The plastic roller is defective. When attempting to use the product the roll of tape falls out of the holder or roller. This is because the enternal rod slips out of the unit and will not stay in during use.Upon contacting customer service, the agent arranged for product/item to be returned to Amazon Distribution Center, and generated product return labels (ROA). I will likely just trash the pet hair remover/roller and ignore instructions to return it for a refund (or replacement). I was quite surprised that the Amazon agent requested that I return it (and provided return labels for doing so). The cost is only $8.88 and it would most likely cost at least half that amount to send the item UPS and back to the distribution/ fulfillment center. BOTTOM LINE: By pass this product and any intentions to purchase it from Amazon. By 3M instead, if you can locate the 3M product.Check out the following item instead>>"Magic Pet Hair Remover" by Four Paws (sold by Amazon), which cost $4.99 (ASIN# B0002AT9EG). I have several. If you buy at least two, it help to keep them clean by rubbing them (2) together. The hair rolls up in a wad, allowing the user to easily remove the wad of hair. I do appreciate the larger surface area of this roller for tidying up rugs and upholstery. However, it is expensive compared to other lint rollers and I'm not sure the larger area is worth the cost.My other complaint involves how the roller part fits into the handle part. It just sort of drops in the slots, so if you turn the handle the wrong way, the roller part gets knocked out and goes rolling off. It would be better if the roll snapped into the handle somehow.The sheets are very sticky, which is great, but they are difficult to tear at times.

I got this to pick up lint and any thing that fell on a couple of throw rugs that we got, in between vacuuming, this works wonderfully. Now I want to go back and see if there is one with a long handle on it,,,This picks up everything, including dog hair, crumbs, ,just everything ,its easy to peel, to go to the next sheet. love it, does every thing I that it would.

I purchased the Pruven large surface roller with handle for the occassional visits of our dog-niece. She is very hairy. The roller pops out of the handle if you just look at it. it cannot pick up anything really well. If you roll it the wrong way, the sheet unrolls.Poor design and not really a great product all around. I wish you carried something a bit more substantial

the only plus of it is the big size, which is what I wanted. But the roll gets loose really easily and each sheet do not tear cleanly, which is really irritating. I suggest that you search for another brand for this

Much smaller than I expected. Not very many sheets are included.

Doesn't grip onto to pet hair as good as expected.
