These are externally pretty buttons. They might seem pricey but they are lovely quality and judging by prices in the shops of buttons which aren't even as pretty or well made, then these are great. They make a lovely feature for crochet products or if your dress making. The stones in the buttons seem pretty secure but I have been and double checked them all before using them. These buttons are so pretty and incredibly sparkly even in dull lighting conditions. Although the usual price of £8.89 for 6 may initially seem high, this is definitely a case where you get what you pay for. The quality of these is really impressive, from the reusable plastic storage box they arrive in to the glass crystals which are, somewhat unusually, held in place by prongs rather than just glue. They are fairly lightweight so won’t drag on your garment too much and at just over an inch wide, they are big enough to pack a punch. But the rhinestones are definitely the selling point here. There’s a choice of colours and I managed to get the aurora borealis finish which is my absolute favourite with its clear crystals which change colour with the shifting light. They are super sparkly - even as I write this review, they are sitting next to me in their box. The room is not particularly well lit and there is nothing moving around them, but they still show up almost as if illuminated. I plan to incorporate them into some jewellery but they will look absolutely stunning wherever they are used, even if it’s just sitting in a dish on your dressing table!
